Every day, hundreds and thousands of people enter the Bat Galim neighborhood - a center of employment and services in the north of the country - but already at the entrance they encounter sights of dirt, dead grass and signs of lack of care. This is not only an environmental hazard but a visual hazard at the entrance to one of the most important neighborhoods in the city, which is the gateway to the largest hospital in the north, the port of Haifa and the naval base.

Residents of the area and visitors to the Rambam Hospital point out that the situation affects the first impression they get of the place, an impression that affects the feelings of the residents and visitors to the city itself. About a week ago, we appealed to the Haifa Municipality to understand the reason for the neglect. In the past, there was a responsible person here who took care of thorough cleaning - he cleaned, polished and washed the streets, so much so that many residents sent the municipality letters of thanks for his work. But unfortunately, following the praise, it was decided to move it to another neighborhood. It seems that every time someone here does a good job, they get transferred somewhere else. Now we have someone who only takes care of pruning. In short, the neighborhood depends on the first rain that will come and clean the sidewalks, streets and the neighborhood itself.
