(haipo) - The Coastal District of the Carmel region, led by the district commander, Chief Yehiel Bhudna, finished their preparation for the funeral of Brigade 401, Col. Ahsan Daksa, which will take place today (Monday, 21/10/24). Due to the funeral procession, changes in traffic arrangements will apply.
1The police told Lai Pa:
At the end of the preparations and coordinations carried out under the leadership of the Chief of the Coastal District, Deputy Yehiel Bohdana, together with IDF officials, the preparation of the police was completed for the funeral of the 401st Brigade, the late Col. Ahsan Daxa.
As part of this preparation, policemen, volunteers and traffic policemen will be deployed starting at noon, in the villages of Dalit El Carmel and Usafia and will work to maintain order and security, to secure the crowd that will come to the funeral procession and direct the traffic in the area.
You must obey the instructions of the police officers who will be standing on the main roads for the flow and direction of the traffic.
Changes in traffic regulations:
In this event, as a rule, vehicles will not be allowed to enter funeral centers. The public is requested to avoid arriving in the area in private vehicles and to use the shuttles from Kfar Dalit to Carmel located at the following locations: Beit Sefer parking lot, Gan Alamir parking lot, Yitzhak Rabin Street Hason parking lot, Merkaz Ha Kfar parking lot
Due to this arrangement, the roads near Beit Ha'am in Dalit al Carmel will be blocked for traffic.
Police instructions to the public:
We call on the public to be vigilant and contact the police emergency hotline at 100 in any unusual event that requires police attention. Also, you can always contact the national information center of the Israel Police at 110 to get a variety of information and be updated accordingly.
The public must obey the instructions of the police officers and security forces deployed on the roads and avoid blocking the passage of emergency vehicles.
At the same time, in view of the security reality throughout the year and these days in particular, we emphasize that in any case of alarms regarding the firing of a steep runway, rockets and missiles, the directives of the Home Front Command, whose purpose is to save lives, must be obeyed.
Also, in any case of falling IED items, we call on the public to avoid coming to the arenas and not to approach and/or touch the remains of rockets or interceptors, which may contain explosive material. This should be reported without delay to the 100 hotline of the Israel Police.
At this time, fallout and rocket parts may be found on the ground. It is important to remember that photographing fallen and unidentified objects, staying near them and of course contact of any kind, are life-threatening actions!

When traveling by car - immediately stop the vehicle on the side of the road and turn off the engine, exit it safely and enter a nearby building or shelter.

3MDA preparation for the funeral journey:
The forces of Magen David Adom set out to medically secure the funeral procession of the late 401st Brigade Col. Ahsan Daksa.
Beginning in the morning, medical services were held at Magan David Adom to provide medical security for the participants in the funeral procession of the late Col. Ahsan Daksa of the 401st Brigade who fell in battle in the Jabaliya refugee camp.
MDA forces, which include intensive care vehicles, ambulances and MDA medics and paramedics mounted on emergency motorcycles and in immediate response vehicles, will be deployed along the entire route of the funeral procession and eulogies.
