During the night (between Saturday and Sunday, 6/10/24) the firefighters from the Kiryat station were dispatched to a fire in a residential apartment on Weizman Street in Kiryat Yam.
When the teams arrived at the scene, the firefighters on the fourth floor identified an apartment burning intensely and immediately strived to contact the fire and scan to rule out any trapped people.
The shift commander Rav Reshef Eran Reisler summarizes:
"We arrived at the scene and immediately conducted comprehensive scans of the building to rule out the presence of trapped people, the temperature was extremely high at around 700 degrees, but the fighters worked with great effort to put out the fire and clear the scene."
