(haipo) - A fire that broke out in a residential building in the Carmel Castle managed to arouse great concern among the local residents, but thanks to the quick and efficient response of the fire brigade, the fire was extinguished quickly and without casualties.
From Fire and Rescue it was delivered to Lai Pa:
Tonight, the firefighters from the Haifa station, under the command of Rabbi Reshef Eitan Ripa, were sent to a fire that broke out in a warehouse located on the entrance floor of a residential building on Shirion Street in Carmel Castle.
Already with the arrival of the first team, the amount of smoke left no room for doubt, there is a definite fire.
The fighters worked to break into the warehouse, and soon took control of the fire while diverting the smoke so it wouldn't harm the tenants on the floors above.
Heavy damage was caused to the warehouse but no casualties were recorded, a fire investigator will come later to check what caused the fire to break out.
Kudos to the fire fighters
Warehouses must have fire-smoke detectors as well as a 6 kg powder extinguisher.
New buildings must have a sprinkler system
