The municipality of Kiryat Ata is preparing for Rosh Hashanah by increasing cleaning and maintenance work throughout the city. As part of the works, increased cleaning operations are carried out, including the removal of garbage and trimmings, the cleaning of the streets, the cleaning of the open public areas, the cleaning of the parks, the playgrounds and the public gardens. At the same time, a thorough water and steam pressure washing of the garbage containers, streets, playgrounds and public centers throughout the city is carried out.
Ahead of the holiday, the municipality placed about 40 additional garbage containers as reinforcements for the duration of the holiday. The list of containers is on the municipality's website. The municipality is asking for the public's help in keeping the city clean. Residents are asked not to leave exposed trash near the bins to prevent it from being scattered around the bin and not to take out scraps and trimmings during the holidays.
