Our wonderful sea holds whole stories within it. Last week 22-27/9/24 I swam at Bat Galim Reef as usual and after about 200 meters from the beach I came across a huge accumulation of waste, a really big and long accumulation of nylons, plastics of all kinds, cups, balloons, straws, snack wrappers - full of everything.
In short, a long swarm full of our handprints, shocking!
Amen and we will reach the days when these are our only troubles.

Luckily my wonderful bubble keeps me sane, in the bubble I meet beautiful marine creatures such as sea turtles, trigons, sea bats, bats, fish, octopuses, squids, jellyfish, fish and more...
They are my drive for everything and I don't see any other option but to keep them, as far as I'm concerned it's our duty!
At the beginning of this month (September 2024) we swam to visit the Arlozorov immigrant ship sunk in Bat Galim and with great regret we encountered a lot of drink cans that found their way into the water. Just sad! We collected as much as we could and got out of the water.

I continue with my heart's mission to create and raise awareness to protect the sea and the environment, about my favorite place in the world, through sharing, lectures, in the various media... Everything starts with education!
