Unknown persons looted a house that was hit by a rocket in Kiryat Bialik

(Hai Fe) - A house in Kiryat Bialik was hit by a rocket during launches towards the north on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Now it turns out that the house was also looted afterwards, by unknown thieves (who have not yet been caught).

Missile attack on the Kiryat

The launches from Lebanon caused damage to several houses and other vehicles in the area. Following the impact, three people were injured by shrapnel from the rocket: a 70-year-old man was moderately injured, and two others, aged 70 and 16, were slightly injured. This incident is part of the escalation in the south and north of the country, which caused widespread injuries.

Eight houses were hit by a missile with an 85 kg warhead

Moshe Kot, owner of one of the houses hit by the rocket in Kiryat Bialik, describes the severe damage to his house and the pain from the looting that happened afterwards. According to him, at the time of the alarm on Sunday morning, he and his family members were in the MMD. Following the rocket's impact, a strong blow caused the MMD window to open, and fire entered the protected room. Fortunately, they managed to get out of the incident safely. A total of 8 houses were hit by an 85 kg projectile. Cars were also damaged, says Moshe.

When they left the MMD, they discovered that the front door of the house was damaged by the explosion, which allowed free access to the burglars, who took advantage of the situation and stole the few items that were not destroyed. Moshe Kot noted that another neighbor's house was completely burned down during the attack.

He expressed his concerns about the future of the grandchildren, who show signs of anxiety and may not want to return to live in the house after it is renovated.

Kot says that the damage to the house is very severe:

"Our tiled roof is damaged, we need to treat the walls and re-whitewash the whole house. In addition, we need to take care of new windows throughout the house. Our furniture is also badly damaged. A month ago I bought a bed for my granddaughter. The bed cost me thousands of shekels. My granddaughter has only used the bed for a month and now I need to buy a new bed. They told me that there's no point in looking at the property, since it's all ruined. It's not that easy to find a contractor, because they're afraid to come here In the center of Carmel, but they ask us to look for an apartment to rent."

The looters took advantage of the damage to the windows and doors

Kot says that if it wasn't enough, a rocket hit the house, people also took advantage of the fact that the house was not closed, and stole things from the apartment. "They did a disgusting robbery to me, they stole a silk printing machine, a professional coffee maker, a computer and cameras. I went to the police to file a complaint. People want to help us and it really moves us. People who work with me offered to help me and I am very grateful to them for that ".

Q: Can you believe that people take advantage of such a situation to steal things?

"I can believe because it's not the first time this has happened in human history, but it's not pleasant when it happens to you. It's really not a joke, the whole house was damaged, and in the end I still have to deal with something like this. Tomorrow, Sunday, 29/09/ 2024, the mayor of Kiryat Bialik, Eli Dukorski, is supposed to come to my house, and I will show him the situation."

  1. Ben Gurion said that until we have our own thieves and prostitutes we will not be a country. According to this we are not a country but a continent from the amount of thieves and prostitutes we have

    • They will not accept because there is no creator of the world. I have seven million proofs that he doesn't exist. Do you have any other proof?

  2. These are people who are sick in the head for looting a house that was damaged by explosions and a direct hit from that, wouldn't there be twenty? It just shows what kind of mentally ill people we have in the country?

  3. I believe there are cameras. The truth. Bialik. can check who they are who hung around the house could be neighbors. Tell me everything is open to me. There are cameras in the house. Maybe the neighbors have cameras
We must find out who did it, heartless people. They are a traumatized danger and more thieves. If Y. Pabo sat for years they will rot!

    • Cameras will not help.
My house was broken into. I gave the police photos of the burglars and the photo of the car they came with and the car number - and they did nothing. This is the Haifa police.
