(Hai Fe) - City Council member Motti Blitzblau is working to promote a comprehensive plan to improve the transportation infrastructure in Kiryat Haim, with the aim of addressing the problems troubling the residents of the area. The plan includes improving roads, installing deceleration lanes and increasing parking spaces in the city.
Among the main issues that came up in a recent working meeting with the head of the Transportation Authority and the director of the Shafa Division (City Improvement), is the problem of parking on Sheshet Haim Street, which is near the Motzkin train station. Many residents report a parking shortage on the street. Parking spaces for the public and tenants along the street Occupied all hours of the day by station users, making it difficult for tenants to find free parking.
In order to deal with the problem, Blitzblau asked to contact the Israel Railways with a request to pave a parking lot for vehicles along the track, parallel to Alexander Zeid Street, as they did on the Motzkin side, which could alleviate the parking hardship during the six days.
In addition, Blitzblau's plan also includes improvements on Gadod Evri Street, with the stratification of the section on this street scheduled to be carried out in 2025. Additional problems, such as deceleration lanes on Truman Street and Michaelis Boulevard, have been referred to the person responsible for transportation safety in the municipality, with the aim of receiving recommendations to improve the situation.
Solutions that will move the city forward and improve the quality of life
With this program, Blitzblau hopes to provide the residents of Kiryat Haim with solutions that will move the city forward, and improve the quality of life and road safety.
Blitzblau says in an interview to Lahi Fa:
The public must feel comfortable and safe when traveling in the city. We will make every effort to realize the plan and give the residents the service they deserve.
The residents of Kiryat Haim can only hope that the plan will be implemented as soon as possible, and will provide real solutions to the problems that bother them on a daily basis.
In Kiryat Haim, Rishonim Street, the Hebrew Regiment, Atsiv, Shlomo Lavi and surely many others have not paved for over 20 years. But property taxes are paid as in Dania.
I miss the members of that band on the crossing.
I have applied several times to the public complaints in the Haifa Municipality about a road on Haifa Wheat Street. A road with lots of potholes. A neglected street in terms of road infrastructure. There are no sidewalks for the employees of the place. The fact that it's an industrial zone road doesn't need rehabilitation?
Asking if it is possible to take care of this street.
Thanks
We must first pave the Nuter Street. It cannot be driven on
It's nice that attention is directed to Chaim. Hallelujah. The same parking problem exists on Shebti Israel Street. The citizens who come to spend time in AHI Eilat park their vehicles on the said street and when they have no space they park in the private parking lots. On the weekends Thursday, Friday, Saturday there is a mess of vehicles on the street. In addition, the street is quite neglected with dry grass in all kinds of places. The street is empty of vegetation. A few trees On the sides of the road, on the sidewalks along the street, residents will enjoy a homely feeling. And it shouldn't be expensive. Thank you for your attention.
Additional parking = additional traffic jams and danger to pedestrians. We need to cancel parking lots near the train and turn them all blue and white with a label for residents.
Moti 5tza from the greens, not from the grays.
The addition of roads and parking lots is contrary to the green principles. You will require additional bus lines to the station
