Another European champion title for the Haifa triathlete Ron Beck and this time, in road cycling!
On Sunday 15/9/24, Ron Beck, a 15th grade student at the Reali High School, won the European Special Olympics road cycling championship in the city of Limburg, Belgium. 23 Israelis from the Israel u2024 national team also participated in this competition during the five days, in various distances, among them the road cyclist Rotem Gepinovitz who represented Israel in the road race at the Paris Olympics, in August XNUMX.

About 50 athletes from 12 countries participated in the Special Olympics category. Three athletes represented Israel, including Beck, who competed in the 15 km sprint and came in first place overall in the men's category.
