Thousands participated on Friday 13/9/24 in the 4th Kiryat Ata race held as part of the national program to promote a healthy and sporty lifestyle. The race took place in several stages: a popular stage of 2 km which was open to the general public and competitive stages of 5 km and 10 km according to division into age categories.
550 runners and over 1800 students from all elementary, middle and high schools in the city participated in the competitive heats, participated in the popular heat, when the mayor launched the participants and gave them medals at the end.
The first place in the men's 10 km division was won by Arbel Aviv and the women's division was won by Slibak Rotem. The men's 5 km division was won by Kirill Zimski and the women's division was won by Kotsiova Dominika.

An urban race is a community, experiential and challenging event that encourages a healthy lifestyle combining sports as part of the way of life. It is exciting to see the residents of the city and especially the children of the city taking part in the race together with participants from all over the country and we are happy that the race has become a blessed tradition in the city while it sweeps away many residents of all ages. This year, the allocations were all dedicated to the return of all the abductees and the safety of the IDF and security forces.
