(Hai Fe) - The Ministry of Health has ordered a ban on accepting new patients at the "Vineyard View" nursing home in Haifa, which is intended for nursing and complex nursing elderly. The decision was made following serious findings that came up in on-site inspections, including significant deficiencies, including poor sanitary conditions.
"Nof Hagafen" serves as a nursing home for the elderly in complex nursing situations, and provides housing, medical care and adapted nursing services. The audit that was conducted revealed serious problems with the infrastructure and conditions at the site, which led to the immediate decision to stop accepting new patients.
The Ministry of Health informed Lahi Pa: "The Haifa district doctor at the Ministry of Health this week ordered a ban on accepting new patients at Nof Hagafen Nursing Home in Haifa following complaints received about the institution and also, significant deficiencies that arose in the control frameworks carried out by the Ministry at the site, including poor sanitary conditions. The Ministry of Health is following up on the matter as the aforementioned decision is valid until for a new announcement, and subject to the correction of the deficiencies by the institution."
The decision of the Ministry of Health reflects its great concern for the safety and health of the residents of the institution, and the conditions of admission will be re-examined according to the progress in correcting the findings of the audit.
The "Nof Hafen" nursing home refused to comment.
In Israel, there is no minimum amount for Saudi patients for the elderly who have reached severe medical conditions. The Ministry of Health must regularly visit all nursing homes, especially those for the mentally ill. Elderly people and violates their minimal dignity when the conditions are disgusting, and not worthy of human beings. Simply, those who put their fathers and mothers in such a situation, do not like them. The Ministry of Health must visit mainly the north and close such disgraceful places.
The problem with the Ministry of Health is that they renounced nursing care. The private bodies are businessmen. They will cut anything to make more money. The problem is that the Ministry of Health usually announces the date of the inspection at the institution. Then everyone prepares as if for a holiday dinner on Rosh Hashanah. Clean and prepare a festive menu, etc. My late father was in a nursing home in Haifa.
The food was limited and rather poor. Some of the workers treated the patients badly. And they had to be given choppers to be nice.
And when the family comes to the team and demands an explanation or comes with some claim or request, they scold us as if they are doing us a favor by taking care of a parent. We paid a lot of money for the maintenance in a nursing home. A nursing home should be like a government hospital. It is forbidden to transfer to private hands!!!
Every family should wrap the
the elderly in the family.
If possible, follow up on medications and the attitude.
As many reviews as possible.
In terms of wages, wages should be raised
For caregivers, take the outstanding ones on vacation. So that they will be satisfied, and not get angry
on the elderly.
This is how it is when health institutions are privatized! The situation is bad in many other places, the Ministry of Health plasters
The old and the elderly must take loans and leave Israel. They have nothing to look for here. Regarding the place Nof Hagafen, my late mother was hospitalized there until she passed away. We must change the name of the place to "Nof HaMovat".
In my opinion... the poor must borrow money from the bank and leave the country to a more respectable place!!!
The elderly are helpless poor people, and it's good to have them monitored. complete recovery.
The Ministry of Health should conduct more surprise inspections in the nursing wards, at different times (during morning showers, meals, shifts).
Ready to sign one hundred percent and no less, that at any random moment if there is a sudden in-depth review or a hidden camera....in any of these places....such horrors will be discovered. How sad. How scary.. there is no red line either, everything is economic...
PS May everyone know what awaits him one day when he becomes weak...
Check all the old people's homes, they are all lost with the wreckage, too bad it's also in hospitals, they just don't give wreckage properly
