Israel Railways delivered to Hai Pa News Corporation:
Thanks to the quick cooperation of the Israel Railways staff, a bag with ten thousand euros in cash was returned to the concerned passenger just before the end of Friday's train operations; "Thank you to the train crews who went above and beyond to locate my precious loss"
On Friday 13/9/24, a worried passenger named Anatoly, a tourist who had landed in Israel that day for a family visit, arrived at the Haifa Beach HaCarmel train station after he forgot a bag with over ten thousand Euros on the train. The manager of the shift, Assi Abrahami, immediately left his duties and turned to the train crews, Oren Chai, manager of the Haifa Central Station, and Oz Sharvit, the inspector on the train, so that they would help locate the precious loss as soon as possible. Together with Haifa station attendant Arni Sela, they immediately began scanning the train lengthwise and widthwise, when after a few minutes they noticed a bag with all its contents lying on one of the train seats. Thanks to the speed of the response and the effective cooperation between the teams, the flight attendant managed to deliver the bag to the excited passenger just before the Friday train activity ended.
Assi Abrahami, shift manager at the Haifa Hof HaCarmel station says:
A panicked passenger came to me and told me that he had lost a bag with valuable things on the train. I'm used to helping passengers find lost items, but it's not every day people lose such amounts. I am glad that I was able to assist the passenger and that it ended up in the right hands. It could easily have ended differently.
The emotional Anatoly wanted to thank the train crews: "I want to thank the people of the Israel Railways and especially the crew who worked exceptionally well for me."
Kudos to the Israel Railways team.
Well done bravo honest people
Kudos to the team that quickly located the precious loss
