At 09:58 (Sunday 15/9/24) a report was received at MDA's 101 hotline in the Carmel area about a traffic accident between a cyclist and a truck on Sderot Han Street in Kiryat Bialik.
MDA medics and paramedics provide medical treatment and refer to Rambam Hospital an approximately 80-year-old man in serious condition with chest and limb injuries.
Emergency medicine medic at MDA from the motorcycle unit Shlomo Simcha Fox said:
"When we arrived at the scene, we saw an 80-year-old bicyclist unconscious with signs of a multi-system injury. We gave him medical treatment and evacuated him in an MDA intensive care vehicle in critical condition.
