(lives here with the kindergarten children) - Parents of the children of the municipal kindergarten in Haifa, do not understand how it is possible that the yard of the kindergarten is so neglected, that in its condition it could endanger the children.
According to the parents, the condition of the yard at the Yara Kindergarten, on France Road in Shaprintsak, a municipal kindergarten intended for 3-year-old boys and girls, does not allow going to it at all, so according to the parents, therefore the children stay inside the kindergarten structure for all hours of the day and do not enjoy going out into the open air at all.
"The facilities have remained since I was a child"
"My son started going to municipal kindergarten this year (from the age of 3)," says one of the fathers. "We were invited before the beginning of the school year to get an impression of the staff and the kindergarten, and we were horrified by the yard. The facilities have not changed since I was a child. Adjacent to the Honeysuckle Garden, there is another municipal garden, the Palm Garden, and there the facilities are newer. The main problem in the yard is the synthetic grass. Children may fall, because the grass Does not cover the land in full. I understood that in March last year they contacted the municipality to take care of the matter, but it seems to me that March was enough time to correct the deficiencies. We turned to the council members and nothing helped.
One thing that did happen was that a municipal worker came and said that the sand in the sandbox was mixed with cement, because of renovations that were in the garden, so they replaced the sand. It was taken care of, but what about the other deficiencies?"
"One thing that really bothers us is that the synthetic grass is very worn and rubbed all over," says the boy's father. "In the grass there are areas with holes that appear to have been burned. In the past there were pillars in the yard as part of a structure that was probably here, and the foundations of the pillars, which are made of concrete, are still in the grass. The facilities are very old, made of wood and the children could be harmed by this. The green house is swaying and not fixed to the ground. There is a facility with a ladder and a slide, and it is also not well reinforced. There is an iron vehicle there that is all rusted and dismantled.
We are disappointed that the children have to avoid going to the yard because of safety deficiencies. The municipality had enough time to deal with it. Children at this age should go out and release energy and not sit all day in the kindergarten. Unfortunately, we don't think anyone is interested. We are very satisfied with all the other things related to the garden, and especially with the gardening team, but the yard is a very problematic thing."
will be taken care of in the coming days
The Haifa Municipality gave a response Because during the next few days the place will be cleaned and a new playground will be laid out for the welfare of the kindergarten children.
I don't understand, the kindergarten management shouldn't take care of this in the summer months, including a situation where you don't get to it within a few days, it's something you've been fed for years...
On the other hand, there are gardens where the gardener comes every end of a big holiday and throws furniture in really new condition, you can pass by some gardens things that are really worth it. I don't really understand why throw away everything in usable condition.
Shame on the municipality! disgust You had two months to clean, renew and fix!!!!!😡

The parents don't know that one of the most dangerous problems they have in the garden is the synthetic grass.
The grass gets very hot and in the afternoons it burns to step on and sit on it, but the main danger is from the chemicals it emits. The children play several hours every day around it and pick up poison.
The municipality of Haifa and those at its head repeatedly miss the really important issues - education and community and deal with the addition of neighborhoods while the city is abandoned by residents
