Liron and Noam's journey began about 13 years ago, as a loving couple full of ambitions and exciting plans for the future. Over the years, the two have built for themselves a special and loving family unit, which includes the two puppies Moshon and Tosha, and nearly 200 plants of different types that fill their home in the village of Bialik.
Over time, their desire to expand the family grew stronger, until it became a dream that filled their hearts, when in 2019 the two made the decision - to have a child, only then a painful reality that they did not expect came knocking on their door.
fight for life
Liron, a 35-year-old graphic designer and illustrator who lives and breathes creativity and love for gardening, began a pregnancy journey, during which she encountered a huge obstacle - she was diagnosed with cancer. The dream of having a child was put on hold, and together with Noam, (36) a third generation of farmers and a lover of the world of coffee, they set out to fight for life.
give birth to a child
In the years that passed, Liron underwent very difficult and complex treatments that put her life in a spin. In 2020, and then also in 2021, when she again fell ill with lymphoma type cancer, this time the outbreak was so dramatic that it was not possible to freeze eggs to preserve fertility.
The two faced each and every step together. Pain, uncertainty and worries were their daily portion, but they were determined to stay strong and face it together, close to each other, believing with all their hearts that all the challenges they face are just part of their way to their big dream - to be parents.
After a period of rehabilitation and as Liron became stronger, physically and mentally, the two received more difficult news: Liron will not be able to carry a pregnancy on her own, as this would put her at a very serious medical risk, this is in addition to the fact that due to her condition they will also be forced to use an egg donor in order to fulfill their dream and have a child forever.
A perfect family unit
They decided they are not giving up and keep fighting. "The difficult years we spent together only strengthened the bond between us, says Noam. "I have no doubt that we will be able to handle everything that comes in the future." All her favorite things with the boy or girl that will make their family unit perfect.
The biggest dream
Now they are entering a new chapter in their lives - the parenthood chapter. Full of hope, they appeal to the public for financial assistance, which will enable them to realize their dream and become parents.
"We know that the whole journey we've been through so far has prepared us for this moment," they say excitedly. "Only raising the necessary amount will allow us to fulfill our biggest dream - to be parents."
Liron speaks of the strong marital relationship between her and Noam with great appreciation and love. "We were incredibly recruited," she describes. "From the first moment the disease was discovered, until the second time the cancer returned - we did everything together, without ego and without considerations. Who does more, who does less - none of this was relevant. What was important was that we were together, supporting each other. We stopped sometimes and barely recognized each other, But we also understood that it was temporary and that we would get through it."
"want you alive"
When the two were informed that Liron would not be able to carry a pregnancy on her own, Noam did not hesitate for a moment: "Noam immediately told me: 'I really want children, but more than that - I want you in life. I am satisfied with you. You are the main thing and I want you healthy,'" says Liron And she adds: "His words were so empowering. I knew that we, together, would build the family we dreamed of."
Liron wants to convey a message to women going through a similar journey: "You have to believe in yourself. We can do anything, we just have to decide that we are capable. There is no other option. I believe, I am strong, and I decide that I will succeed."
She concludes with an important message for everyone: "Get periodic checkups, take care of your health, and don't neglect yourself. Health is the most important thing."
