After the "mini-storm" that hit us in the last two weeks and caused a partial shutdown of access to the sea, we returned to work - straight to an underwater tour of Haifa's beaches from Dado Beach to the Pacific Coast, to bring a contemporary update of the flora and fauna at the end of summer 2024.
We are entering a period of clear water, a drop in the water temperature that has already begun, and of the appearance of life that was not seen during the summer both because of the temperatures and because of the turbidity of the water.
The photos were taken on a sandy, rocky bottom, coral reefs, artificial reefs and large and small breakwaters.
Dear Muti! Thank you for such an interesting article that exposes us readers at home to the depths of the sea. The pictures of the sea creatures are simply wonderful and in such good quality! I have no words! Cheers!
Hello Jordan and thank you very much.

Thanks to Motty Mendelson who brought us the underwater world of Haifa's beaches. I have a question, what is the name of the Kanon or Kernon fish (you wrote both names under his photos)?
Hello Anat and thank you.
Thank you for your attention. This is a typo.
His real name is Kernon.
And there are many species of it, with the most beautiful of all being the peacock horn.
Wonderful week
