The municipality of Kiryat Bialik recently approved a series of new projects and additional budgets for investment in the city's infrastructure, education, sports and the environment. The decisions were made by the finance committee as part of approving new extraordinary budgets and increasing existing budgets and will be presented to the city council in the coming days.
Among the most notable investments can be found a budget increase of NIS 10 million for the construction of a new soccer field in the Neat Afek neighborhood, which is a significant addition to the city's sports infrastructure. In addition, NIS 640,000 was allocated for the planning of the Bialik Community Nature Park, a project that will include the restoration of moist habitats in Nahal Hagadora and will contribute to the quality of the environment and leisure in the city.
The municipality is also investing in improving existing infrastructure, with approximately NIS 1.14 million earmarked for upgrading the air conditioning systems in the multi-purpose center named after Danny Zak. In addition, several projects were approved to improve accessibility in educational institutions, including acoustic and visual accessibility, with a total investment of approximately NIS 95,000.
The field of sports is further strengthened with an investment of 250,000 NIS in upgrading the swimming pool at the recreation and sports center named after Karliner - Country Afek. At the same time, the city promotes the well-being of the elderly population with an investment of NIS 380,000 in the "Optimal Aging Promotion Authority" project.
