The Labor Court ordered to end the strike at 14:30 • Update ○ Monday 2/9/24

(haipo) - After Arnon Bar David, the chairman of the Histadrut, announced last night (Sunday 1/9/24) a general strike in the economy, and later today (Monday) proposed to end it at 18:00 p.m., a short while ago the General Labor Court ruled that the strike will be stopped at 14:30 p.m., and he even stated that this is a political strike and has nothing to do with the killing of the abductees.

The Histadrut shuts down the economy, in cooperation with many private employers. This is in protest of the Israeli government's faltering in conducting the negotiations for the release of the abductees and the end of the war, which has been going on for 10 months. The workplaces are closed and crowds will demonstrate throughout the country today.
