Hermetic blockade of road 752 - Bar Yehuda Road between Haifa and Nesher, starting from Thursday (05/09/2024) until Friday (06/09/2024) due to work by the Nesher cement plant to dismantle the old Nesher bridge.
Starting Thursday (05/09/2024) from 18:00 p.m. until the next day, Friday (06/09/2024) at 10:00 a.m., there will be a hermetic blockade on road 752 - Derech Bar Yehuda, in the section between Derech Moshe and the interchange Yegor and does not include the interchange. The blockades will be carried out following the works of Nesher company Israeli cement factories Ltd. (hereinafter: "Nesher") to dismantle the old Nesher bridge.
The blockage is due to the need to dismantle the old Nesher bridge, which has not been used for many years
and is a hazard on the Bar Yehuda axis - Highway 752. Dismantling the bridge is complex, and is expected to last about 17 hours, which will include operations such as the logistics of deploying cranes and dismantling tools, disconnecting a high voltage line from an electrical company for the benefit of the hoist, and hermetically closing part of the Bar Yehuda axis, Highway 752. During the works, traffic will be diverted to parallel roads.
The work to dismantle the bridge by Nesher is coordinated with the police who will be present at the scene. The works will be carried out on the axis where Ayalon Routes is declared as the traffic sign authority and the company will supervise the traffic arrangements, the works are done in cooperation with the Nesher Municipality and the local Zebulon Council.
Below are the temporary traffic arrangements that will be implemented during these hours:
- Starting Thursday, 5/9/24, from 18:00 p.m. until the next day, Friday, 6/9/24, at 10:00 a.m., a hermetic blockade will be carried out on road 752, in the section between the Derech Moshe intersection and the Yagur interchange and does not include the the interchange
- Derech Bar Yehuda (Route 752) will be closed to vehicle traffic for passengers in both directions, in the section between Derech Moshe and the Yegur interchange
- The trip to Nasher will be possible through a detour through the Check Post intersection and Route 752 according to the details on the attached map
- Access to Kibbutz Yegor via Route 75 and the Yegor Interchange will be possible as usual
- It will not be possible to turn right from Halaniot Street to road 752. Turning left to road 752 will be allowed as usual
- Pedestrian access to the Nesher football stadium will be possible through the crosswalks at the Halaniyat intersection/Route 752
- Access to the "Spice" Country Nesher complex and the Sonol gas station will not be possible
- Changes will apply to the public transportation routes passing through Bar Yehuda Road and also to the Matron activity. In order to help passengers, outreach work will be carried out that includes signage. In addition, information attendants will be stationed at some of the affected stations - at all hours of the blockade, starting from Thursday at 17:00 p.m. to 23:30 p.m. and on Friday from the morning until the opening of the axis at 10:00 a.m. for all vehicles and public transportation.

- The trip to Nesher will be possible through a detour through the Check Post intersection and Route 752 as detailed on the attached map.
- Access to Kibbutz Yegor via Route 75 and the Yegor Interchange will be possible as usual
- It will not be possible to turn right from Halaniot Street to road 752. Turning left to road 752 will be allowed as usual.
- Pedestrian access to the Nesher football stadium will be possible through the crosswalks at the Halaniat/Route 752 intersection.
- Access to the "Spice" Country Nesher complex and the Sonol gas station will not be possible.
- Changes will apply to public transportation routes.
