(Hai Fe) - The Carmelit Golomb station will change its name and be called "Bnei Zion Hospital Station".
Haifa Mayor Yona Yahav and the Municipality's CEO Gadi Margalit responded positively to the initiative of the CEO of the Bnei Zion Medical Center, Dr. Ohad Hochman, to change the name of the Carmelite Station on Golomb Street adjacent to the Bnei Zion Medical Center from "Golomb Station" to "Beit Station" The Bnei Zion patients" as it was for many years until 2018.

A little about the Carmelit Golomb station...
Carmelit Golomb station is one of the Carmelit stations in the city of Haifa. The Golomb station is located on Golomb Street, named after David Golomb, a Zionist leader. The station provides easy access to Bnei Zion Hospital.
It was designed to serve as a transition point between different areas of the city and to improve accessibility and public transportation in Haifa. It is part of the Carmelite system that connects different areas of the city.

CEO of Bnei Zion Medical Center Dr. Ohad Hochman:
I thank Mayor Yona Yahav and the CEO of the municipality Gadi Margalit for responding positively to my proposal. The name change is more than changing a sign; it is recognition of the contribution of the Bnei Zion Medical Center to the life of the community. The Carmelit station is our entrance, and the name Bnei Zion Hospital, will illustrate the importance of the medical center in the urban fabric.
Changing the name of the Carmelite station to "Bnei Zion Hospital Station" will make it easier for patients and visitors to find their way to the medical center and will even increase the hospital's position as a leading medical center in Haifa and the region.

The hospital building is outdated. Not long ago I came for an inspection there and everything was flooded with sewage water. Happens once every few weeks. This is an urban hospital (just like Ichilov in Tel Aviv). Carmelit's Golomb station is almost deserted and only a few use it to get to the hospital. I hope I made some order for you
The Haifa municipality needed a few divorces years ago and then sold the hospital to the state. Check Tabu. 100% ownership by the State of Israel. Some of the salaries are still paid from the state through the municipality's budget.
When will we change the name of the station in Masada after Yona Yahav?
Golov should have been a Zionist!!!
Totally required.
You too will be forgotten/replaced, like you forgot Golomb.
It was possible to change to "Golumb Bnei Zion"
Like the Sevidor Central train station in Tel Aviv
indeed true. * Golomb / Bnei Zion. *
