(haipo) - A worker fell from a height during renovation work in Kiryat Yam and was moderately injured.
MDA informed Lahi Pa:
At 10:32 a report was received at MDA's 101 hotline in the Carmel region about a worker who fell from a height of about 3 meters during renovation work on a house in Kiryat Yam.
MDA medics and paramedics provide medical treatment and refer to Rambam Hospital, a 52-year-old man in moderate condition, with head and limb injuries.
The Salvation Union stated:
The medical teams of the Rescue Union provided medical assistance to a man (52 years old) who was injured in his limbs and head as a result of a fall from a height on Tsalon Street in Kiryat Yam.
Chaim Avni and Alhi Dayan, medics of the Rescue Union, said:
"According to his friends, he fell from a ladder into a pit during his work to build a pool in the yard of a residential building. With the help of other medics, we gave him initial medical aid at the scene and after the assistance of fire crews to rescue him from the pit, he was taken to Rambam Hospital, where at this stage his condition is classified as moderate."
