The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Israel Katz, and the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, MK Yuli Edelstein, visited Kiryat Bialik on Tuesday 20/8/24 and were deeply impressed by the municipality's emergency preparedness.
The mayor of Kiryat Bialik, Eli Dukorski, presented them with the municipality's comprehensive plans to maintain the residents' security, emphasizing the importance of daily life alongside full preparedness.
Edelstein praised the cooperation between the municipality and the security and rescue agencies, and emphasized the importance of regular communication with the public. In their conversation, Dukorski mentioned the kidnapped soldier, Matan Angrest, a resident of the city, and expressed hope for his return and the return of all the abductees.
Addressing the residents of the city, Dukorski said:
