Volunteer outside of Haifa

In a dark time when the country's leadership is engineering us to hold bad opinions against each other, to reduce independent thinking and to label any different opinion as a threat - sometimes it is also allowed to fantasize how different it could be here. The area speaks for itself - an article summarizing a long volunteering in a civilian army for the soldiers of 'Brothers to Arms'.

40th birthday in the civilian army

Karin Hazan of the Emek Guard turned forty and she chose to celebrate her birthday at the carpentry of the civilian HML when she saws wooden pallets to make libraries and furniture for the soldiers in the field.

Karin Hazan shares:

I asked for time off from work and thought about what I wanted to do to celebrate my fortieth birthday. I heard from my brother, who had already volunteered in the Civil Defense, about this impressive place and the good people who are here. I have known their activities since the beginning of the fighting because I volunteered in agriculture through the 'brothers to arms' volunteer groups. I am happy to be here and celebrate my birthday here.

London was conquered

Michael Halperin, 26 years old, a physiotherapist, lives in London and visits the civilian HML with the Taglit group.

Michael Halperin shares:

England is changing. Starting with the October Seventh, even Jews became against Israel and I wanted to be around people who support Israel. I no longer talk to friends I had... In my neighborhood and in our community every electricity pole has a Palestinian flag and it feels like London has been conquered by the Palestinians. The whole country is changing, it's not the greater Britain, it's just not that great anymore.

I feel at home here, and when I volunteer at the Civil Defense for the soldiers, it makes me feel like I'm doing something useful. When I'm here and help prepare these shadow nets for the soldiers, I feel like I'm contributing. It gives me a sense of pride and satisfaction that I'm relevant to the war effort, it Makes you feel that we are all family and owe each other.

Ice cream car

Hadas and Shimon Ables, residents of Nesher, have been volunteering in the transportation unit of the civilian HML since November.

Hadas and Shimon Ables share:

We have been volunteer drivers in the Civil Defense since the beginning of the war, transporting equipment donations to the soldiers in the northern sector. With the beginning of the summer, the Civil Defense started a new initiative of auto ice cream. The guys in the HML installed refrigerators on a mobile cart and we travel and distribute ice creams and ice creams donated by businesses, to cool down the heat for the soldiers and warm their hearts. My husband and I volunteer at the civilian HML out of a real desire to contribute our part in this war.

Social correction

Liran Handel from Moshav HaSollim, a volunteer in the desk and carpentry team of the civilian HML.

Liran Handel shares:

I had heard about the activities of the 'Arms Brothers' and the Civilian Armed Forces from publications in the media and at some point I read in messages in WhatsApp groups in our area that were looking for volunteers for the logistics center. I joined the activities of the Marlog because I felt that I had to do something, out of a desire to join the national effort that is taking place, in an attempt to fulfill the the deficiency and correct as much as possible the required. The meeting with the people in KML is really special and very strengthening. Each of the volunteers makes a great effort and the activity that goes on here is really amazing.

Dynamic action

Naama Friedlander from Zikrhon Ya'akov, responsible for the desk's activities, has been a volunteer since the beginning of the war in the civilian HML.

Naama Friedlander shares:

I was looking for a way to support the soldiers, and by chance I found the Civilian Army of the Brothers and Sisters of Israel, a place of dynamic action for the welfare of the soldiers. I have a sense of satisfaction from the significant action in which I take part, and the big bonus is the meeting with the wonderful volunteers, partners on the way. Of course, the thanks and smiles What we receive from the soldiers strengthens and makes us continue and persevere.

  1. Brothers in Arms - Civil Compassion - an amazing non-political organization. How much poison from those who chose to curse and do nothing. I feel sorry for you.

  2. Kudos to the Civil Service and the volunteers - a model of solidarity and useful and necessary social action.

Kudos to the Brothers in Arms - a model of public responsibility, initiative, taking responsibility and doing for the public in Israel and for future generations. Without them and like them we would have gone off the rails a long time ago.

And to all the detractors - take an example and try to direct the energy to work for society and the country. Good luck to all of us

  3. Warms the heart!
The civilian military is another example of civilian mobilization. People in difficult times invest time, energy and a lot of goodwill to help soldiers, evacuees and those in need. We are blessed that this is our people.
    Inspiring and giving hope.
    Thank you.

  4. Another article by Hindus for public awareness! The Lanzak brothers betrayed the people in the country and destroyed the army. Not buying their volunteerism. They are responsible for the murders, rapes and kidnappings of 7/10. The refusal they marched before 7/10 was manifested on Black Day. There were no flights for almost 6-7 hours from the beginning of the war which could have prevented the abductions and murders of children. This type of article tries to clear them of the destruction they did in the IDF, especially in 8.200 and the Air Force. They betrayed Otef and the Biebs family is paying for it in cash with their family's blood!

    • Some nonsense and lies in one response. Come volunteer instead of slandering

  5. What an article. Brothers in arms are hiding behind civil compassion and a lot of money. We will not forget and we will not be forgiven, you are the squatters of Israel who refuse to pay a dime. Whatever you do will not help, everything is sloppy. Everything is rotten from the inside. You are not interested in the country, you are interested in the citizens. All the volunteers in the article One variety of color. You are racist.

    • Indeed, we will not forget and we will not forgive the government of destruction for the 7/10 and the exhaustion, the indifference and the alienation even now

  6. Here is the good proof in Hutter that there is no connection between the horrible group called 'Brothers in Arms' and the actual volunteers.

  7. Brothers to desire
    Kane letter
No amount of money will clean up the injustice and separation
who brought shame and dishonor to the country

  8. The brothers to harm or the brothers to desire will be happy and rejected their names have no remedy and they have no forgiveness neither in this world nor in the world to come

  9. Mind engineering is registered in the name of the hated organization, which tries in every way to capture the sympathy of innocent citizens and thereby whitewash the disgrace of the refusal and the destruction of the army, guys!! Don't believe them!!!!!
I'm not talking about the volunteers who come in good faith, but about the brain that activates them.
A little tip: those who really do something for the sake of giving - are not looking to step on others on the way and not to be famous.

  10. For the soldiers of Brothers in Arms, you mean the refuseniks who abandoned their company to fight without them? just make sure

  11. Brothers for treason in Israel...Brothers in arms of Hamas...trying to show as if their goal is to help the soldiers and in fact all of their establishment by the bodies of the progressive anti-Semitic Samal and all of their funding of hundreds of millions has one goal...to fight Netanyahu and his government and the Jewish state...a call for refusal
Arrogance and racism and hatred towards anyone who thinks and speaks differently... Look what they did to Noa Argaman..!!!
Violent demonstrations, disrupting the life of the state, the threat of fratricidal war and giving Hamas and Hizballah a vindication, and the worst is the cynical and cruel use of the feelings of the families of the abductees (which are of no interest to them) just to attack Netanyahu.
For them, after they sacrificed 1200 of their kibbutznik members to overthrow Bibi, it will be a disaster if Netanyahu brings about the release of the kidnapped! They will lose
The most important card for them...brothers for betraying the people of Israel

  12. friends to the damage who slander the country badly and incite division and refusal as a disabled IDF and a bereaved brother I despise them in addition to taking a ride on the families of the abducted and bereaved shame

  13. Kissing brothers should be behind bars. They destroyed the country. Shame on this pseudo-newspaper, whose editors are also probably part of the cleaning that was done here at the end of the war. We will take care of you all.

  14. How political can this lousy tabloid be. Brothers for the damned damage, the blood of 1200 also by their own hands and no beating for sin in the style of voluntary work will wash away and repair the damage of the precedent refusal that tore the social fabric in Israel. They never refused to enlist because of election results, while they, these sons of injustice, dared to create this precedent. You are lousy and no one buys it anymore.

  15. Thanks to the commenters who chose to read the article.
Of course, for every negative reaction, there are also those who are interested in how to join this wonderful army, to be surrounded by positive people who choose to stand up and help our women and soldiers.
I had the privilege of volunteering for many months together with seniors, retirees, students, teachers who took days off especially for volunteering, parents, youth, accompanying thousands of employees of the high-tech companies in the economy who came to volunteer days, getting to know small and large business owners who generously donated working hours of their employees or products, to get to know the hundreds of drivers who got into the vehicles and drove to any desired destination (fuel at their own expense, of course) to provide our soldiers with supplementary equipment that the IDF did not supply them with. Thank you to the volunteers who flew from all over the world to volunteer in the IDF, to the framers trainees, to the kippah wearers , right and left - beautiful Israel. Those who did not understand this from the article...should check themselves (or come and volunteer...)
I invite you to also read my previous article from January 'We are all brothers'.

    • No one has a claim against the wonderful volunteers. There is an argument against the organizers who enlisted the volunteers as if the actual volunteers were in the group that called for the refusals. This is a disgusting bunch. The fighters - and I among them - did not take equipment with the name of the Hsu group written on it. They tried to cause factions in the army and are trying to cause factions as a sect as well. They shamelessly claim that they are the fighters and those who think differently from them dodge. Shame on them.

  16. Kudos to you for volunteering and working for the soldiers. bless you And to all those who catagged in the comments, shame on you! What have you done for our heroic soldiers??? Cheeky!

    • It's a shame that you follow the organization of the refuseniks who brought the October Holocaust on us, who take advantage of the situation and whitewash themselves under the guise of donations.
One needs to know how to distinguish between a pure contribution, like most of this good people, and a trending contribution whose purpose is the training of the creep.

    • Unlike the group that calls itself 'brothers in arms' we were in the reserves. Five months in the north. Two and a half months in Gaza. No one from 'Kissing Brothers' was with us. not even one. Shame on them.

  17. What is this poison article in the first paragraph? Really brothers for the damage is suitable for you anyway they only do it for the cameras and more they take donations

  18. In a dark time when the state leadership is engineering us to hold bad opinions against each other -
    Not friends:
In a time of massacre and war that was created because the enemy saw that for 10 whole months organizations like Brothers in Arms were engineering us to hate the right wing, the government elected in democratic elections, and created endless chants
To the refusals and factions that weakened the IDF from the inside when they brought senior officers to threaten non-service...
That's what you wanted to write, wasn't it?
