(haipo) - "Giving after Israel" association expands and opens a new branch in Haifa. Currently, the branch has 29 volunteers. Tali Budescu, director of the association's branch in Haifa: "All our activities are based on the good will of everyone to give of themselves, just to be good to others and improve their lives."
The "Giving After Israel" association, founded in March 2021 in Or Yehuda by Oded Nussbaum, continues to expand and influence, with the opening of a new branch in the city of Haifa. The association, which was established out of a vision of kindness and mutual guarantee, works to bring about a real change in the lives of the needy and families in need throughout the country. Oded Nussbaum, the founder of the association, is a family man and information systems analyst, who began his journey in the world of volunteering out of a sense of mission and a strong desire to do good in the world.
Kindness and giving without limits
The association aims to help everyone, regardless of religion, race or gender. The main goals of the movement include providing material assistance and resources to families in need, creating a wide support network for those in need, and strengthening the values of mutual guarantee in the community. The association works to provide those in need with food, clothing, electrical goods, blankets and means of heating in the winter, as well as assistance in financing dental treatments and vision tests.
Anyone can help
In "Giving After Israel" there are a variety of volunteer routes, from collecting and distributing food to families in need, to assisting with logistics and organizing community events. The volunteers act out of a sincere desire to help and assist, and from a connection to the values of kindness, compassion and social responsibility. The association collaborates with local businesses and with private donors, who assist it in supplying essential products, financial donations and equipment donations.
Expanding the activity to more needy families in the north
The new branch in Haifa is another step in the expansion of the activities of "Tina after Israel", and enables the association to help more families in the north of the country. The city of Haifa, due to the diversity of its population, needs a broad social response that will help the residents deal with economic and social challenges, and the association "Giving After Israel" enters the picture with the goal of providing real and immediate help to anyone who needs it.
The vision behind the association
Oded Nussbaum, 42 years old, is the driving force behind "Giving after Israel". After years of volunteering with children with disabilities and activity in 'Friends of Road Assistance', Oded decided to dedicate himself to establishing an association that would work for broad social change. The values that guide him include kindness, compassion, mutual guarantee, patience and tolerance. Oded believes in the importance of helping the weak and in the deep importance of strengthening communities through social involvement.
With the opening of the new branch in Haifa, "Giving after Israel" continues with vigor and faith on its path, inviting the general public to join the circle of doing and giving. Everyone can be a part of the change, and together we can bring hope and joy to many more in Israel.
Our activity is based on everyone's desire to give of themselves to do good for others
Tali Budsko, director of the Haifa branch of the association 'Giving After Israel', tells Lehi Pa about the association's activities: "The association was founded by Oded Nussbaum, who is responsible for the Or Yehuda branch and recruiting branch managers, personal support in recruiting volunteers and finding families in need."
The uniqueness of our association is that it operates exclusively through volunteers. There is no raising of financial resources - all our activities are based on everyone's desire to give of themselves, in order to do good to others and improve their lives. Each branch is responsible for one city or settlement, and all the volunteers and families involved are in the same community.
The Haifa branch, which was established last May, currently has 29 volunteers, of which about 20 are regularly active. We operate in a flexible manner, with the volunteering done according to the free time of the volunteers," Bodesco says and adds: "Every week, on Tuesday, I publish a call for volunteers for cooking and transporting food to families in need towards the end of the week.
During Tuesdays and Wednesdays we hold placements between the breweries and the families. On Thursdays and Fridays, the volunteer breweries provide the food to the volunteers, who deliver it to the families who need it.
I am fully available for any problem or challenge that may arise during the activity. Even though there are glitches and challenges, the satisfaction of preparing the food and the joy of the families when they receive a hot meal for the weekend fills us with joy and motivates us to continue working."
Expand the circle of giving
"Our community is currently able to support 4 families in need," says Budescu, "I am also working to recruit more volunteers and expand the activity to support more families. We cooperate with organizations that provide information about more families in need."
We have no political agenda
"All the activity is carried out through a WhatsApp group, and sometimes also by phone, in urgent cases. We have no political agenda, our whole purpose is true kindness and giving to improve the lives of others. Each volunteer contributes from his time, from personal expenses on groceries, cooking and transportation, and everything is done out of desire Purely and independently.
Budesco calls on everyone who is interested to come and join the association and concludes: "We are sure that it will do you good."
"Volunteering improves the quality of life and prolongs it"
Yochi Bauer, who volunteers at the association, tells Lahi Pa:
"This is an opportunity for direct giving and it is clear to me that we (Yossi and I) are not only donating, but also donating with a good sense of satisfaction for doing something meaningful. Kudos to the initiators. This blessed activity is in its infancy - I hope that the publicity will bring more people to join and that the circle of beneficiaries will expand. By the way, To all those who are undecided: all the studies show that volunteering improves the quality of life and prolongs it."
Kudos to the giving after Haifa with the huge heart led by the wonderful Tali, really moving
Well done!
I arrived in Nes Ziona and there is a special house there.
I parked the car some distance from the specialty house.
I received a hearty meal of 4 dishes, when part was packed in trays,
I ate, I was full, I took the tray, returned to the car and drove...
I didn't know anyone there and no one knew me; No one asked me who, what...
