Lebanon in Alta: "Israel has no more targets to attack in order to return Lebanon to the Stone Age" • from the media in the Arab world

(haipo) - The electricity supply was stopped to all areas of Lebanon, and if you thought it was related to the war, then the answer is no. The Lebanese Electricity Company announced the cessation of electricity supply to all areas of Lebanon, this is because the last production batch of the Al-Zahrani plant was out of service, due to the fuel stock being completely exhausted. The reactions were not long in coming, and the social networks in Lebanon were filled with sarcastic comments from the citizens.

The fuel has run out at the power stations

The Lebanese Electricity Company announced the cessation of electricity supply to all areas of the country, including basic facilities such as airports, ports, water pumps and prisons. In the information notice issued by the company yesterday (Saturday 17/8/24) it is stated that the company took all possible precautions to extend the electricity supply, but without success. The main factories that remain for electricity production simply cannot continue to function without fuel, which led to a complete blackout throughout the country.

According to the company's report, as mentioned, the last production group of the Al-Zahrani plant was out of service - "due to the plant's fuel stock, which was completely exhausted", which led to a complete interruption of the supply of electricity throughout Lebanon. The company confirmed that it will restart the groups. which were forced out of use, once the fuel is "guaranteed", then the resident electricity supply will be "gradually" as it was in the past.

How does the Lebanese people react to the situation?

Many of the citizens began to post sarcastic comments on social media, including: "Israel has no more targets to attack to return Lebanon to the Stone Age" (because we are already in the Stone Age...), others protested that the lights in Hezbollah's underground tunnels were turned on and the ones above them turned off.

An activist on social media posted a picture of clothes hanging on power lines and wrote: "The Lebanese Electricity Company announces that starting tomorrow, the Lebanese can use the power lines as a rack for drying laundry."

In response to these jokes, while trying to keep his cool, the Minister of Energy, Walid Fayad, said:
"I hope these jokes don't lead people to commit nonsense and get electrocuted." Fayed added that they are waiting for gas deliveries from Egypt, which should arrive by August 23. Until then, electrical generators will provide temporary energy to Beirut's airport, but that too for only two days.

The electricity crisis in Lebanon is nothing new

The country faces a chronic lack of fuel, which endangers its ability to maintain basic functioning. The central factories "Zahrani" and "Dir Amar" are often facing shutdown.

Lebanon announced at the beginning of the month that the stock of red diesel at the stations had dropped to a dangerous indicator, especially in light of the non-delivery of any shipment within the framework of the Iraqi exchange agreement, during the month of July, since it is known that Lebanon depends on Iraqi fuel at a rate of 83 thousand tons per month. All of these threaten the country with complete darkness, especially after the "Deir Amar plant" went out of service, and only one group remained.

The negotiations that took place in the past with Jordan and Iraq for the supply of fuel and electricity to Lebanon have not yet resulted in a result that advances the resolution of the crisis. Now Lebanon is facing an even more difficult reality, as it tries to survive the current crisis and hopes that the electricity will shine again soon.

  1. This does not prevent the Lebanese and their friends from continuing to rain missiles on Israel.
So let them enjoy what they cooked. Appetite!

  2. I understand how an ancient nation boasting of mythological heroes fails to raise its head against a terrorist group made up of narrow-minded brats, with a fundamentalist leadership that does whatever comes to mind, without regard for human life! Causing the slow destruction of the state of Lebanon, and no one revolts? And no one ever cries out to try and save them from the devil called Nasrallah, may God bless him! And that's why I call them to stand up with stones and cold and hot weapons, to give them back their independence, and to re-establish the land of cedars that was the pearl of the Middle East, and the quietest and calmest place in the world!!! Get up brothers! And do something for the sake of future generations, so that they don't grow up in slavery to brutal terrorist gangs like Hezbollah! Allah will take them!!!

  3. And for those who don't see beyond the edge of the shoe... this is what will happen to Israel when the illusory messianic takeover is completed and we finally become an assigned apartheid state and when everything that is left of the already collapsing economy will be drawn into territories and increased allowances for the ultra-Orthodox who prefer to be inactive and not go to work or God forbid to the army.
Then we will see where we will buy weapons and develop technological and military superiority...?
    Maybe from Allah...

  4. You asked for it, you got what you thought they would let us shoot at and be quiet, these days are over and this is only the beginning, ask the Iranians for fuel instead of weapons

  5. As Hamas makes the lives of Gazans miserable, everyone is afraid. In the same way, Hezbollah makes life miserable for the Lebanese.

  6. And yet the Lebanese, who lost almost everything, are not able to stand up from the cocoon that stood up for their creator. What are you waiting for? Hezbollah has everything underground that I wish it would open its mouth and swallow them all. They don't count you! Maybe stop counting them, and start living?

    • agree! But maybe it's time for us to rise up against the government that brought us to this situation.

  7. And they don't go against Hezbollah, which brought them to this situation. What kind of country is Lebanon, every clan does what it wants in a country that most of the time is in a civil war and wars that Hezbollah brings on them.... Shame and shame on the cowardly and wretched Lebanese people with an army of gays who are afraid of Hezbollah, the trash that doesn't care about the little children.... The country of the cedars will disappear from the world because of Hezbollah...

  8. Maybe they will detonate the missiles they plan to launch at us in the tunnels, and store the energy for electricity?...

  9. According to researchers, the Stone Age lasted hundreds of years, according to their colleague, it lasted for thousands of years, and from here you can run on the timeline to which point in the Stone Age they should be returned
including, unfortunately, vulnerability in the Israeli home country as well
Are they already in the stone age?
And this while the Lebanese state still doesn't look like the Gaza Strip?
    Maherbatim

  10. We are also completely dependent on fuel, gas, coal and so on. Never resilience. A wise man prepares for the future. A politician for election.

  11. The lack of fuel in Lebanon is due, among other things, to the bombing of fuel tanks in the port of the Seal in Yemen.

  12. Lebanon in Altai does not make Hezbollah any less dangerous. A lack of electricity does not impair the ability to launch rockets or rockets. There must come a severe blow to Hezbollah's capabilities, but it all depends on the timing. A war against Hezbollah is now Sinuar's wet dream.

  13. rope. If they would get rid of the Hai-Zaballah and make peace with us, we would be able to help them. But they probably prefer to live in the trash.

  14. Are there no more targets to shoot in Lebanon? Hizballah is shooting at us because the Shiite terrorists have linked themselves to the Sunnis in Gaza and only the Arabs are right??? ... over 100 years of Israeli-Arab conflict since the Ottomans left Israel in World War I and in their place the French and English took over the region.
100 years in which no Arab leader and no agreement was signed by Arabs. Check the history books in all the committees over 100 years ago, the Arabs just did not agree!!! Apart from that from 1947 - the UN declaration of the State of Israel and the State of Palestine until 1967 the Six War - The days, that is, from the UN declaration, for 20 years the Jordanians and the Egyptians ruled most of the Arab parts of the country, they did not give a state to any people and to any country called Palestine for 20 years because in practice such an entity did not exist. I mean by fire all of southern Lebanon 40 km. If this is my life versus the life of the people who for 100 years just want to kill us and not agree on anything! So this is my life!

  15. This is what will happen in Europe when the Muslims take over it for good!!! Turn the Switzerland of the Middle East into a fifth world country!!! They shit on their plate and pee in their cup!!!

  16. The Stone Age It seems to me that everyone here is dumber than a stone, the sky is fuel, and everything is fine to make sentences, attacking the stone is stupidity, that's why it needs to be destroyed, etc. And it also doesn't bring back the stone age, just empty words

  17. Don't get excited, it's all nonsense, the problem is that there is news every second and every moron expresses an opinion, no one is busy with himself, people are robots, just like monkeys, every penny makes a news story, morons

  18. The time has come for the Lebanese people to wake up and tell where the tunnels are and where Nasrallah is hiding and then redemption will come. Zero saboteurs who invest in tunnels and weapons like Hamas. Give Israeli intelligence information to eliminate Nasrallah the scum

    • When they say..'Levantines' they mean the Lebanese..a world of ignorance..and corruption.
It is not clear where they or others are from, likened them to the "Switzerland and Paris of the Middle East", pathological hedonists who prefer small and fleeting pleasures over the good of their country. It is not bad that they live a little in slavery and slavery to Islam..and Hezbollah, instead of joining the enlightened world.!

  19. The Prime Minister of Lebanon and his brother have a fortune of two billion dollars.
Only the two can finance for many months.

  20. What's the problem if they contact Yair Lapid, he will make another successful deal with them as he knows how to do, it's far away, it's in the sea, everything is fine Mr. Lapid

  21. Lebanese wake up,
    Offering you an exchange deal
Blow away Hezbollah and we will give you plenty of electricity. we will have fun And Israel will take the electricity from Gaza that they will be left without in their homes.

  22. The article says "There are no more goals for Israel"
There are targets that have not yet been dealt with, the underground of huge tunnels, including trucks with missiles, tunnels of the Radwan force and of course the tunnel of the Hezbollah command
There are goals and their handling is subtle in Nasrallah's equation

  23. Maybe if Hezbollah were less busy destroying the State of Israel they would not only have electricity. What is funny is that Nasrallah said he had the ability to return us to the stone wall. It seems to me that he succeeded in returning Lebanon to the era of the creation of the world when the light was not yet created

  24. Everything starts with jealousy, they are jealous of us and the Arabs who live well among us... Arabs, start appreciating where you live and lend a shoulder to maintain this goodness. Imagine if you lived there, what would happen to you

  25. Friends, you will learn from the Arab world - the false mischief exercises of the Gazans and the Lebanese in front of the media and public opinion. They did the same exercises in Gaza. All lies, all manipulations, all complete fabrication. They know it works and grabs the headlines and is then used, of course, for more propaganda against Israel. They are geniuses at propaganda, we have our pants down all the time.

    • Tamar, you are so right, go on Mochash, smear yourself with ketchup and wave the Israeli flag and have all your friends take a picture of you posing with this flag so that you can spread your world peace.
Enough of the war, enough of the war - why doesn't Hamas understand? You demand! Well, why isn't the world straightening out - after all, you provoked, well, come on. There are no wars, this is peace, because you wrote on the sign.

  26. Instead of blaming Hezbollah for using fuel and not caring about the residents of the Lebanese people, they blame Israel for defending ourselves and not opening up with them in this situation
