(Live here with lifeguards) - In the protected command room of the Rescue Union, somewhere in Haifa, last night (Sun. 11/8/24) in the evening hours, dozens of volunteers of the Rescue Union, who deal with saving lives as a matter of routine, gathered.
This evening is a special evening, the excitement in the small hall is at its peak, as Ihud Hatzla received ceramic vests, personalized and embroidered for each volunteer. The vests protect the bodies of the volunteers from gunfire and missile shrapnel and also contain all the essential equipment for saving lives, for quick retrieval. We were with them at the event and were excited along with the volunteers. The donation, by the way, amounts to 50 thousand dollars.

As part of the preparedness for the worsening of the security situation, branch meeting points have been established for various scenarios, including a situation in which there will be a collapse of cellular and communication systems and it will not be possible to communicate with the national headquarters of the organization.
