(Live here) - From Karmiel to Haifa - Dr. Adam Becker was appointed the new municipal veterinarian in Haifa.
The Haifa Municipality informed Haifa News Corporation:
Dr. Becker (39), married +2, lives in Kibbutz Hathor, comes to us after 3 years in which he served as the official veterinarian of the municipality of Karmiel, where he founded a kennel that saved hundreds of homeless dogs.
Dr. Becker had a close relationship with his predecessor in the position, the late Dr. Yair Weiss, who passed away about a year ago under tragic circumstances, and according to him: "Yair was like a mentor to me, I feel that I am now stepping into big shoes, but I have a lot of motivation to succeed." He studied veterinary medicine at the Hebrew University, and during his military service at the Shemesh station as Chief Veterinarian of the Northern Command and then as Chief Veterinarian of the Air Force.
