The CEO of Klalit, Eli Cohen, the VP of the community Merav Gut and members of the general headquarters conducted a tour of Nahariya this week. At the end of the tour, the CEO announced the district of Haifa and Western Galilee, the largest district among Klalit's districts, as the outstanding district of Klalit for 2023, an achievement that reflects the medical and service excellence of the district in the past year.
The declaration of the Haifa and Western Galilee district as an outstanding district came at the end of the tour. At the level of the general administration and the district administration, the CEO crowned the Haifa and Western Galilee district of Klalit as an outstanding district for 2023, thanks to the district's impressive achievements in the past year, among them: the highest medical quality indicators in the country, the first place in patient satisfaction, and thanks to a significant streamlining of work processes and service .

This achievement is the result of hard work and dedication of all district employees. The distinction and the receipt of the certificate here in the Western Galilee, takes on renewed validity in light of the unique challenges we faced this year, especially in the recent period of war and security tensions. Our teams have demonstrated an impressive ability to continue to provide healthcare services at the highest level, while dealing with emergency situations and ensuring the safety of both patients and staff. We are very proud of this recognition and consider it a sign of honor and commitment to continue developing.
The tour took place under the leadership of Haifa and Western Galilee district manager of Klalit Ronan Nodelman and Dr. Liad Vardi, manager of Klalit clinics in the Western Galilee and accompanied by Dr. Avi Goldberg, director of Carmel Hospital from the Klalit group and members of the district management.
During the tour, the CEO asked to strengthen the hands of the medical teams for doing a lot so far and to insist on the preparation that will ensure the continuity of medical services in the event of an escalation. During the visit, the participants met with the teams in the clinics and talked with patients. At the conclusion of the tour, the CEO praised the teams for their dedication and work adopted for the benefit of the health of the residents, especially in this challenging time and said: "Look around you, each member of the staff is prepared and ready and is here every day, imbued with a sense of mission. You all work together, shoulder to shoulder, to provide the best medical care to our patients even on tense days. You Klalit's beautiful face".
