Tonight (6/8/24) the firefighters from the Haifa station, under the command of Rashef Yossi Cohen, were sent to a fire in an apartment on the third floor of a residential building on Herzl Street in Haifa.
Upon their arrival, the fighters detected intense fire and thick black smoke coming from an apartment in the building, they began a quick scan and located a neighbor who had fled to the balcony of her house when she was unable to leave, with great resourcefulness they reached her using breathing systems, kept her on the balcony unharmed until the smoke dissipated and a safe exit was possible and rescued her for examination The medical factors. Fortunately for everyone, the woman escaped unharmed.
Other teams that arrived on the scene deployed foam lines, and under heavy heat, took control of the fire that severely damaged the apartment and released the smoke when the incident ended without casualties.
The investigation officer of the Haifa station arrived at the scene and determined that there was a suspicion that the apartment had been set on fire.
