On Thursday 1/8/24 rescue organization drives were called to an educational institution in the ridges following a report of a fall from a height.
Together with MDA medics and paramedics, the drivers provided medical treatment to an 11-year-old boy with a head injury, and he was taken in moderate condition for further treatment at Rambam Hospital in Haifa.
Rescue medics Oriya Dadon and Avi Boyer report:
When we arrived at the scene, we found an 11-year-old boy unconscious and suffering from a head injury, after falling from a height of about four meters during an activity at the institution. Together with MDA medics and paramedics, we gave him initial medical treatment, which includes immobilization and dressings, and he is in moderate condition to continue receiving medical treatment in the trauma room at Rambam Hospital in Haifa.
