Dr. Masha Garnot, a specialist in family medicine and a resilience coach, joined the Klalit team
Dr. Masha Garnot, a specialist in family medicine, lives in Haifa, graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology from Tel Aviv University and an MD degree in medicine from Bar Ilan University. She did her internship at Carmel Hospital, and she did a family medicine residency at the department of family medicine in the Haifa and Western Galilee district.
Dr. Granot began her career in general medicine at the Juliusburger Clinic, from there she moved to the Benjamin Brown General Clinic (Romma) and is now part of the Technion General Clinic team.
Dr. Granot says:
I am happy to join the Technion clinic. I enjoy getting up in the morning for my work, that's what motivates me to work every day anew. The interpersonal relationship with the patients and the meeting with new people give me a Ciptopal feeling
And they violate me. Working as a family doctor allows me the opportunity to express myself, both from the humanitarian side and from the professional side. This is something I do not compromise on. I believe and am sure that together with the dedicated and professional staff, we will continue to lead and promote the clinic and provide the best medical service to Klalit patients at the Technion.
In addition to the addition of Dr. Garnot, a new service was added to the clinic - a resilience trainer. Resilience training is a new and groundbreaking service that gives patients facing emotional distress the opportunity for targeted resilience training. In order to provide a one-point solution while striving to improve the quality of life. Michael Komtiani is the resilience trainer at the clinic The Technion.Michael has a bachelor's degree in psychology who provides resilience training in a number of clinics throughout the Haifa and Western Galilee districts of Klalit and now also at the Technion's Klalit clinic.
Michael says:
I feel very privileged to take part in such a significant program of Kalit, which provides an available solution for many people who face emotional distress on one level or another. To date, I have met patients who are thirsty for knowledge and specific guidance in the field. Some are in a storm of emotions or feelings of confusion. Our goal is to try and help them function better in their day-to-day life. The very focus and delineation of the source of the emotional problem, succeed in most cases in making the difference for them. In addition, the resilience training provides them with practical tools designed to improve their quality of life and to respond to the hardships they feel immediately. I see from the side how much the emotional training benefits them. It fills me with great satisfaction.
At the Technion clinic you can receive additional medical services: family medicine, women's medicine, neurology, nutrition and diet,
Nursing services, office services and a pharmacy in an agreement with Klalit.
