(haipo) - As part of the group stage of the Toto Cup of the Premier League held this evening (Sunday, 28/7/2024) at the "Sami Ofer" stadium in Haifa, before the game the Hapoel Haifa Red Football Club observed a moment of silence of applause in memory of the 12 children who were murdered yesterday in the village Druze from Jadal Shams in the Golan Heights in the north.
The captain of the team, Oren Biton and the goalkeeper Yoav Jarafi took to the field with the flag of Israel and next to it the flag of the Druze tribe. Meanwhile, it should be noted that even during the singing of the national anthem, the flag of the Druze community was held by the goalkeeper of Hapoel Haifa, Yoav Jarafi.
The Hapoel Haifa football club informed Lahi Pa:
