(live here in the north) - The "Chariots of Fire" project was launched. The project, which costs about NIS 50 million, includes the purchase of 150 firefighting ATVs and 40 vans for the emergency rooms in the north. The goal is to improve the speed response to fires with protective equipment and additional firefighting equipment.
Israel Fire and Rescue and the Ministry of National Security reported to Lai Fe:
In a solemn ceremony in the capacity of the Minister of National Security, and Fire and Rescue Commissioner for Israel, the "Fire Chariots" project was launched - firefighting ATVs that will be distributed to emergency departments in the north to provide an immediate response to fires.
The ceremony took place on Thursday, 25/7/24, at the Zebulon station of the coastal district of Nahariya in the capacity of the Minister of National Security, MK Itamar Ben Gabir, Israel Fire and Rescue Commissioner, Rabbi Tafser Eyal Caspi, Minister of the Negev, Galilee and National Resilience, MK Yitzhak Wasserlauf, Commander of the Coastal District, Tafser Zvika Moyal, Commander of the North District, Tafser Yair Elkayam, Commander of the Coastal District of the Police, Superintendent Daniel Levy, Mayor of Nahariya, Ronan Marli, Director General of the Ministry of Police, Raphael Engel, heads of authorities, classes The alert from the localities, affiliated bodies, district commanders and workers from the fire department.
The "Chariots of Fire" project was approved by the Israeli government in a decision-making proposal led by National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gabir last month. As part of the decision, which cost about 50 million shekels, the fire brigade set out on an expedited purchase of over 150 ATVs and 40 vans in order to place them together with teams of volunteers from the standby classes in order to provide an immediate response to the threat of fires.
Along with the distribution of ATVs that contain a high-pressure fire pump, the teams will also receive state-of-the-art personal protective equipment, fire fighting equipment, hoses and other extinguishing means that will enable a quick and initial response during fires.
Distribution of ATVs in several beats
The distribution of the ATVs will be carried out in several rounds, where in the coming days 30 vehicles will be distributed to localities after the teams of the standby classes have been accepted as official volunteers in the Israel Fire and Rescue Service.
Minister of National Security, MK Itamar Ben Gvir: "Even before the war, I demanded the establishment of standby classes throughout the country. There were those who underestimated it and today everyone understands where I was going. It's not just that I'm asking to enter the limited forum, today they understand that I was right to insist on the standby classes and see their importance and actions for the State of Israel. The Chariots of Fire project is an important and life-saving project and will allow the teams to reach anywhere and at any time. The fires should be moved to Lebanese territory, but at the same time it is important to emphasize that we are prepared and ready for any scenario and mission. I am proud of the fire department. You are a mighty force that saves life and property. Israel Lives".
Fire and Rescue Commissioner for Israel, Rabbi Tafser Eyal Caspi: "In fire and rescue, we are building the integration that is required for the future of the State of Israel, just as is happening now with the cooperation between the Ministry of National Security and the military standby units mediated by the Israel Fire and Rescue system. When we create a platform for quick response to save lives - no enemy will be able to keep us awake. We do this 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are strong, prepared and ready for all these challenges.'
Commander of the North District, Tafsar Yair Elkayim: "The members of the standby classes are the spearhead in the fight against fires. Their use of ATVs will be a significant force multiplier in extinguishing fires and providing an immediate response to incidents. Today's launch is the first swallow of the distribution of tools and means to the settlements and I am sure that with their help, along with the determination and spirit of our standby teams and firefighters - we will be able to meet any task and challenge.''
The reservists in the north sit idly in luxury villas, a few patrols to locate falls and help put out fire fires from time to time, most of the time they are busy cooking corrupt meals and barbecues, taking courses at the Open University and Coursera, working remotely, doing everything except security and receiving wages and benefits.
What is wrong? There is no IDF. There are ducks in the range and the rest of the ducks have moved south for an unknown amount of time.
Hezbollah has already won by evacuating the settlements.
These are not ATVs. These are some sort of Polaris Ranger style SUV.
