Omri Shalmon, CEO of the Council for the Preservation of Sites:
From the first days of the 'Iron Swords' war, the Council for the Preservation of Sites was mobilized to help the evacuee communities from the south and the north through a wide range of activities, including guided tours and relaxation and refreshment activities - both at the heritage sites and at the evacuee centers all over the country.
The activities - all free of charge - are carried out with the assistance of the Ministry of Heritage and the Jewish National Fund-USA organization, as well as with the assistance of volunteers and conservation trustees. We invite the evacuees to continue enjoying these activities during the summer, following the sites and people that make up the story of the Land of Israel for all of us.
All activities require prior registration. Details and registration on the Site Preservation Council website.
