On Sunday 14/7/24 the residents of the northern Golan were surprised to find that the waters opened and rain began to fall, an unusual sight in the hot summer season. In Moshav Neve Ativ and up the road to the Hermon site, the raindrops fell on the dry land and caused great joy among the locals.
Rafael Neve, CEO of the closed Hermon site, which has been in reserve for nine months, managed to document this rare sight. Despite the pressure and stress that being in reserve brings with it, Rafael managed to find a moment of pause to capture this unexpected beauty on his camera.
The rain in July in this area is not common
This period is characterized by high temperatures and blazing sun, so the encounter with the rain was an extraordinary experience for the residents.
The expectations are that the rain will stop soon and the heat will return to control, but for this short time, the residents of the northern Golan enjoyed moments of refreshment and a beautiful spectacle that they will remember for a long time.
Thank God for a double and redoubled blessing 🙏🙏 for man and the earth and now in general 🙏
I wish it would be possible for it to rain in the entire north and south so that all the hijackings will not harm any person, tree or land 🙏🙏
From the bottom of my heart, I wish it were possible to wet the forests with even light water every day to prevent the intensity of the flames 🙏
I'm in Georgia now, floods are coming down here, so I'm not really surprised
It's really exciting that it's raining now.
A rare case indeed. Good morning, Mia
