Pursuant to my authority under Section 20 of the Business Licensing Law 1968 (hereinafter "the Law"), I hereby cancel the administrative stop order that I issued on July 5.7.24, 67 to the "Louis" butcher shop, XNUMX Derech Allenby Street, Haifa, which is owned by you.
On July 8.7.24, XNUMX, the business in question was audited by the environmental health inspector at our office. In this audit, it was found that the main deficiencies observed in the business, and which constituted the reason for issuing the order, have been corrected. In light of this, the danger to public health has been removed.
It is clarified that you must correct the remaining deficiencies detailed in the audit report dated 8.7.24/XNUMX/XNUMX, and operate the butcher shop only in accordance with the approval and business license given to it. You must not carry out operations that are not approved.
The Ministry of Health informed Lahi Pa:
Dr. Yonatan Dubnov, deputy physician of the Haifa district, signed on Friday 05/7/24) an administrative stop order for the "Louis" butcher shop, 67 Derech Allenby St., Haifa.
According to the cease and desist order issued by Dr. Dubnov to the managers of the "Louis" deli at 67 Derech Allenby Street, or anyone on their behalf, they must stop operating the business immediately: do not produce / prepare food / do any food processing / take out / market and / or do Any use of all the products that are in the business, and no products are to be brought into the business, all of this until the order is revoked.
Dr. Dubnov issued the order to the "Louis" butcher shop in light of the serious findings found in the business during the audit conducted on 4/7/24 by the Environmental Health Inspector at the Municipal Veterinarian's Office of the Municipality of Haifa.
From the document: "The business is in an extremely poor sanitary, maintenance and operational state, with serious deficiencies that immediately endanger public health. In the circumstances described, due to the severity of the findings and the immediacy of the danger they pose to public health, I am issuing an administrative stop order to the business before a hearing."
Details of the deficiencies observed in the business during the audit:
- Prohibited manufacturing operations are carried out in the business, which include, among other things, pre-grinding, seasoning, freezing meats and vacuum packaging. About 50 kg of unmarked frozen meats were destroyed, some of them seasoned.
- The business treats poultry and cattle without the conditions required for this in terms of work areas and there is no division into separate work sections (there is only one sink in the business) risk of cross contamination.
- There is a smoker outside the business.
- Next to the saw used to cut raw meat, pita bread and cooked meat were found. Risk of cross contamination.
- A temperature of 26°C was measured in the work area with meat.
- Pre-packing operations are carried out in the absence of a workroom.
- There is no separation in the showcase between poultry and cattle. Risk of cross contamination.
- The business sells prepared food products, among other things, hamburger buns in bulk. Also, packaged Parmesan cheeses were kept at room temperature contrary to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Products were found for sale without marking and/or standard marking, among others pickles, cooked couscous.
- A temperature of 18°C was measured in the ground meat when making meatballs. Also, the temperature monitor in the grinding machine showed 21°C.
- There is an area in the business where the ceiling is low and above it is a gallery. The ceiling was found dirty, with peeling paint and plaster. (plaster peeling due to opening the cold room door).
How much did they pay to reopen? God through bribery.
The smuggled meat that was kept at room temperatures to save on refrigeration - was destroyed.
Now that we reopen, you can continue to bring in smuggled meat that will be kept at temperatures
Room to save on cooling.
The Ministry of Health closed and reopened a business with life-threatening deficiencies within two days
Who can believe that everything was fixed and it was done professionally in two days? LOL
disgrace
We were sold spoiled meat
What's going on here? First they announce with trumpets and sirens that the place is causing damage to public health, and needs to be closed immediately, and a few days pass and suddenly everything is fine
... very suspicious of irregularities in the health care system and contempt and gross trampling of the citizen and of that merchant who was affected ... The person and the citizen are being trampled by the ugly and rude feet of filthy unscrupulous people!!!!! put an end to it!!! Now and immediately!!!!!!
What nonsense lately, the Ministry of Health only makes money from the businesses every week, the same story is written, they closed it for someone else, for someone I know, they also closed it, they were just looking for things and the place is cleaner than a pharmacy, they don't let people earn a decent living
Cheap gets expensive.
Did they also check which restaurants it sells to?
What will I do with the pigs now?
disgusting. This is why I don't eat meat.
poison.
close permanently. Shame on greed.

not to worry. Next week everything is open in the same format and nothing happened here.
Thanks to Dr. Jonathan Dubnov and the supervision team.
Really life threatening!
I agree with the question asked by my predecessors... why weren't indictments filed against the store owners and the manager?
And why isn't the owner arrested for questioning????,
Why wasn't the owner taken in for investigation and charges filed?!?!
