Kiryat Bialik ranks first in the north in the ranking of economic strength

Kiryat Bialik was ranked first among the northern cities and 14th nationally in the economic strength ranking of Israeli cities tested by Coface BDI for 2024. The ranking published today (4/7/24) shows a significant jump compared to the previous year, in which the city was ranked in 19. The high rating reflects the informed and responsible management of the city, while maintaining budgetary balance and promoting economic growth. Kiryat Bialik offers a supportive and attractive business environment, alongside a high quality of life and efficient service to its residents.

The flattering rating represents the impressive economic boom experienced by Kiryat Bialik in recent years. Accelerated development of an industrial and employment area, alongside attracting new businesses and flourishing local entrepreneurship, contributed greatly to strengthening the city's economic strength.

The BDI rating is considered one of the leading ratings in Israel in the field of the economic soundness of local authorities. The ranking is based on a variety of parameters, including: income, expenses, debts, assets, property tax collection and budget management.

We are very happy about the high rating we received. This is the result of hard and dedicated work by the entire municipality team, in cooperation with the city's residents. Kiryat Bialik continues to step forward and proves itself to be a strong, attractive and developing city, which is a role model. In recent years, we have started building budget-linked work plans, with each department being responsible for building the plan and executing it. This way allows us efficient and constant control while maintaining the budgetary framework approved by the city council and the Ministry of the Interior. We will continue to work vigorously in order to promote Kiryat Bialik and turn it into a prosperous and progressive city.
