The singer Adam died this morning (Thursday 27/6/24), aged 64, after a long battle with cancer, as announced by the Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv.
In his last words, which he published on social networks, he wrote:
"If you read these words, it means that I'm in a world that's all good, so they say, I can't recommend it yet:) I want to thank you for the wonderful and unbelievable journey in this life, I did a lot, I was total, I went to the limit in everything, in love, in friendships, in creativity, I have a few unfinished dreams left, but not many.
Thank you for love, thank you for every person I met, or influenced in one way or another, thank you for life. If I was not able to help from below in the matter of the kidnapped Shabbat, I will try to act from above.

Adam was born in Acre by the name of Haim Cohen. After his military service he moved to Haifa and later moved to Tel Aviv where he studied dance and acting. In 1985 he was a backup singer for Yizhar Cohen in the song Oleh Oleh, after that he started a solo career in France and returned to Israel after a year and recorded his first solo album "Sud".
His songs "Sud" and "In Mosa" became hits of unprecedented magnitude in those days, and Adam was a leading pop singer with an album that sold about 45 thousand copies. Adam has also won the Festigle four times.
In recent years Adam suffered from various diseases. He underwent surgery to remove a gall bladder that got complicated and caused damage to nearby organs in his body. Last year 2023 he announced that he had cancer and that he was starting chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Today, as mentioned, and after a long struggle, he died in Ichilov Hospital.
