The increase in the number of cases of corona disease in Israel continues - a man in his 70s and a woman in her 60s, hospitalized at Rambam, both in serious condition, with complications of the corona virus.

Both patients are being treated in respiratory intensive care at the medical center, where the man, whose condition is defined as more severe, is connected to an ECMO device, which supports the activity of the heart and lungs.

Dr. Assaf Miller, director of the respiratory intensive care unit at Rambam, explains that this is an unusual figure relative to the recent period, although according to him it is still too early to draw conclusions about different trends.
