Where have the "podtracks" of Haifa gone?

During the Corona period, the food trucks project grew in Haifa and allowed people to enjoy delicious street food in the open space. The project, which started with high hopes to continue to rise, is now in decline and remains in its place.

Podtracks in Taiwan ► Watch

Where did street food come to us?

Street food is a common phenomenon in Southeast Asia, allowing tourists and locals to enjoy cheap, tasty and fast food. In my travels in the East, I arrived in Taipei, Taiwan, a futuristic city that preserves the Chinese culture that was integrated into it. Taiwanese food markets are some of the cleanest and most orderly I have seen in the East, and for Taiwanese, dining at the local food market is part of the norm, regardless of social status.

A breathtaking food truck farm

During my visit to Taipei, I encountered a wonderful phenomenon: on the banks of the river that surrounds the city, there is a food truck farm, which opens at sunset and is illuminated at night. This farm provides an attractive recreation place for all ages and enables a unique culinary experience.

Making Haifa a culinary center of attraction

Although the Haifa project of food trucks is currently in decline, it is hoped that it will flourish again in the future and become a cultural and culinary attraction. With the election of the new mayor, Yona Yahav, the public expects to see significant changes when it comes to places of entertainment and the development of the city.

Will we see a revival and flourishing of ventures like food trucks, or will the decline continue? only time will tell.

  1. Sponsorship is the story. Want to sell, we are your partners, don't want us partners, no problem, tomorrow you won't have Podtrack.
    very simple

  2. Hello, it's so fun and it's true that there is a crack food in the sea area.. I hope you come back, in the evening we go down to the sea, and at some point we get hungry, so there is food and it helps a lot. Also convenient, tasty and a good price, I would love to have you come back

  3. From what I understood from one of my close friends, that the podtracks are in serious decline because of the private ownership of the areas where the podtracks stood and sold food.
I understood that there were many cases where the owner of the area (the house or the factory) demanded rent for the podtrack in order to be able to continue selling.
And a certain specific case that one refused to pay, so they burned his podtrack.

I don't know how true it is, but really this idea was very successful, especially in the summer season, it's just a shame they didn't think further about sales in privately owned areas....

  4. What a disconnected article it would have been better if you ended it with your strange story in Taipei.
And as a reporter I expect more from you, Haifa's podtracks are a reward for criminals who have taken over them, the food in them is average minus in the best of them and more at the prices of a restaurant with air conditioning from some khafer

  5. Great clickbit
So where did they go? Nobody knows..
It's probably part of the character of this sleepy town. The residents are also fed up with themselves, a nice project that was suffocated.

  6. Where have the "podtracks" of Haifa gone?

That's a great question, what happened to the Indian food truck and the brewery?
The bureaucracy of the municipality closed them?
Is it just not economical? What's the story here?
