Urgent call to the municipality to cancel the "20 minute Zuz" parking lots at the entrance to the residential neighborhoods:
A. Vehicles go in and out and it interferes with entering and leaving the neighborhoods
B. Other vehicles wait in the road until someone leaves one of these parking spaces and cause traffic jams
third. The parkings cause a change in preference for traveling by private vehicle, including residents from other neighborhoods instead of arriving by bus and on foot, and this adds to the already large loads at the entrance to the residential neighborhoods
d. In the morning, vendors use these parking lots, which are usually diagonal to the road, with vans and large trucks blocking the entrances instead of arranging unloading in the parking lot parallel to the sidewalk
The hazards are unbearable.
God. Cars waiting near parking lots for 20 minutes move also block and disturb pedestrians going up on pedestrian sidewalks until parking is available.
This whole venture is bad and encourages private cars over alternatives.
Cancel the 20-minute move in Haifa and arrange discounts for Haifa residents compared to non-residents for parking in the city.
