A team of rescuers joined the injured woman, and a medical team that included a doctor, a paramedic and the unit's medics gave her initial medical treatment, which included casting the leg in the field and pain relief. She was later evacuated on a stretcher out of the area, where an MDA ambulance was waiting for her to Rambam Hospital.
