Maccabi Haifa Carmel is proud of the achievement of the association's swimming department where a record number of participants from the division of swimmers who set a criterion for the European Championships to be held in Belgrade between June 17.6-23.6 were recorded, with no less than eight green swimmers.
- In women: Leah Polonsky, Aviv Barzilai, Ayala Spitz, Ariel Hayon.
- In men: Roni Polonsky, David Gerchik, Miron Hiroti, Adam Marana.
Apart from the achievement, it should be noted that the same expected competition in Belgrade is the last opportunity to set an Olympic criterion for swimmers who have not yet set the criterion, in the individual medleys and the relay teams for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. As you remember, the games will begin this July. For the swimmers who set the competition criterion, it is an excellent preparation for the games in Paris.
