"The Terminal" - the new concert complex that will open in the port of Haifa this June (2024) will host concerts, music festivals, parties and more, in the unique environment of the port, between the sea and the downtown.
In the month of the launch, some of the most prominent artists in Israel will appear at the "Terminal". The complex will open on 1/6/24 with a concert by Ravid Plotnik and later Rami Portis, Nega Erez, Avitar Banai and many more will appear there.
The opening of the new complex, initiated by the Port of Haifa, with the cooperation and artistic management of Assaf Ben David, one of the founders and producers of the inDnegev festival, is expected to be the first venture in the port that will be opened to the public regularly and will bring new cultural news to the north and Haifa, in particular in the area of the historic "Hangar 15" in the Haifa Port, which was established in the years - 50 and was used over the years for the various needs of the port, the "terminal" will be opened this coming June as part of the sea front project of the port of Haifa. The seafront project at the port of Haifa holds tremendous potential for a cultural event in the city and a new arena of tourism for the well-being of the city's residents and the surrounding area.
The performance complex on an area of about 3,000 square meters has undergone a thorough renovation and construction, including a stage, one of the most advanced sound and lighting systems in Israel, a complex of bars and food, and more - and will host up to 2000 people at the event.

The collaboration for the establishment of the "Terminal" was recently forged in the Haifa port together with the Ran Wolf company (Tel Aviv port, Jaffa port) and with Assaf Ben David, one of the founders of the "Indingv" festival and its artistic director, who will be responsible for curating the content and actual production in the new complex.
"Indingev" flourished the wilderness in the Western Negev where it takes place, and has become in the last 17 years the largest and most unique music festival in Israel, which every year hosts hundreds of bands and artists in exciting combinations. The port of Haifa, which holds tremendous potential for cultural events and has only now been opened to the public, is a dream arena for the realization of Haifa's cultural potential.
Another intriguing cultural collaboration of the port with the members of the "Broken Pingaz" group, the successful art collective that began its journey in Haifa in the early 2000s. The collective returns to its home city and will create an intriguing art project in a hangar throughout the complex that can be seen from all areas of Haifa overlooking the port.
The complex will open for the first time on 1/6/24 and ticket sales have begun (there are no tickets left for Ravid Poltnik).
In the first phase, the complex will open on weekends, and it is expected to host about 2 performances a week, later the activity will expand to a host of cultural events, special lines and more.
Next to the new concert complex and in the huge hangar area, the Haifa Port passenger terminal will continue to operate, from where passengers depart for cruises in the Mediterranean basin. The passenger terminal is expected to resume its operations this coming May, for the first time since the outbreak of the war.
The entrance to the complex is here from Hatzamtu Street in Haifa, through the Passenger Terminal Bridge (Gate 5), next to the Dagon Building and the "Haifa Center Hashmona" train station.
Yona Yahav, Mayor of Haifa:
"The municipality of Haifa sees the urban seafront as a strategic project, which will position Haifa in its rightful place, as a leading tourist and cultural city on an international scale. The new performance complex that will be built will be an important element in the realization of this project and will serve as a central anchor in connecting the city's residents to the port."
Ron Malka, Chairman of Haifa Port:
"The "Terminal" concert complex at the port of Haifa will bring new cultural news to the north and to Haifa in particular. I have no doubt that in cooperation with the Haifa municipality, the new complex will greatly contribute to the tourism, recreation and leisure industry in the city of Haifa and accelerate the construction of the sea front."
Erez Beharir of Haifa Port Real Estate and Sea Front:
"The opening of the new concert terminal is a significant first step towards a wide opening of the port to the general public in the Seafront project. The project will place the city of Haifa on the Shore
One of the leading cities in the world that have gone through the process of reconnecting the city with the port and the water line while making optimal use of the port areas for the well-being of the residents."
The port was already open for concerts in the past such as Jazz in the Port 20 years ago.
In Tel Aviv the entire port is already a tourist area with Hangar 11 which can accommodate 3000.
It's a really good idea that will stimulate the scene of concerts and events in Haifa. The question is again why there is a stadium with 30,000 seats and not 2,000 and all summer there are no concerts in it and it stands empty when all over the world soccer games are combined with big concerts.
We built an urban stadium not only for football but also for events and they don't hold any events in it!
They are amazing 🌟
Great idea!
Do you know how much property tax has to be paid to the Haifa municipality for a 3,000 square meter building for commerce? If the combine is not paid, it deserves to be checked by YHA.
I hope they will continue to broadcast Ninja Israel from the port of Haifa. Maybe the broadcast actually contributed to development. Despite the pain of our situation, I hope for success.
I am happy in my old age. The country is collapsing, the north is deserted, the economy is being destroyed, more and more soldiers are dying in Gaza by repeatedly entering areas that have already been occupied and evacuated, and the main thing. The kidnapped languish underground, and here - they celebrate
