The Minister of Environmental Protection, Idit Silman, visited Kiryat Bialik with her staff on Thursday, May 16, 2024 as part of a working visit to the city.
During the visit, which was also attended by the mayor of Kiryat Motzkin, Tsiki Avisher, representatives of the Nature and Parks Authority, the management of the Ministry of Quality and the Environment, the mayor of Kiryat Bialik, Eli Dukorski, raised the problem of jackals wandering around the city and nearby cities. Dukorski pointed out that for many years Kiryat Bialik has suffered from wandering jackals, even in the old neighborhoods, but with the establishment of the Neat Afek neighborhood adjacent to the Ein Afek nature reserve, the problem worsened.
An integrated awareness campaign regarding the proper feeding of street cats
In the last six months, the number of inquiries from residents to the municipal hotline regarding jackals has doubled. The similar phenomenon also occurs in other cities. Dukorski requested the immediate intervention of the Nature and Parks Authority and the assistance of the Ministry of Environmental Protection in the matter. After an in-depth discussion, it was decided that in addition to the increased thinning that will be carried out by the Nature and Parks Authority, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Nature and Parks Authority and the municipalities in Kiryat embarked on an integrated awareness campaign regarding the proper feeding of street cats, to be extra careful about closing the garbage cans and cleaning around them in order to reduce the attractive food sources the jackals to the cities.
The other issue discussed at the meeting is the problem of burning pirated waste in the villages near Kiryat and its consequences. The mayors raised their concerns about the expansion of the phenomenon that causes heavy air pollution, breathing problems and damage to the quality of life of the residents. Also discussed at the meeting was the issue of noise prevention from improved vehicles and motorcycles and the participation of the municipalities in the Kiryats in a call by the Ministry of Environmental Protection that allows the placement of cameras and noise intensity meters at major intersections and roads.
Summing up the visit, Minister Silman stated:
I thank Mayor Eli Dukorski and the municipal staff for the warm welcome and fruitful cooperation. I see great importance in close cooperation between the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the local authorities, and I am sure that we will continue to work together for a better environmental future for the residents of Israel.
Alas that Idid is considered Minister of Defense. She is the worst of the worst. Terrible. Unbelievable.
Shame on the municipality that hosted the minister who is responsible, among other things, for the greatest disaster in Israel's history.
A little respect for Dre wouldn't hurt
Not that I'm one of the lickers
I claim that there are residents who throw garbage in the streets and do not keep them clean. They are to blame
A molten creature. The traitor secured a position and the scoundrel did not hesitate to dismantle a good government. I am convinced that Mayor Kiryat Bialik is aware of her poverty and had to invite her to get a budget. Walking pollution protects the environment and this is how the environment looks.
Hahahahaha the minister for the destruction of the environment, a lying Jewess who destroys the land of the Holy Land of Israel with her own slaughtered hands and claims to be a religious god.
get laid
What is this bloke doing here?! What solutions did you offer? Nothing and nothing. It's a shame the money we pay to finance the refreshments for her.
What happened that recently Dukorski hosts ministers from the messianic government?
🤮😡
What exactly Sillman does is not clear
There are a lot of worthy and respectable AHMA's who are worth visiting in Kiryat Bialik, but Idit Silman's visit in particular?
Mrs. Sonia
On what basis do you write these things?
Please elaborate your words
You don't need a visit from "important people" but a visit from someone who has the authority to deal with the issue.
