City Center • The Dick Family's All-In-One Incarnation

The City Center building is located in the northern part of the German colony, at the intersection of Ben Gurion Boulevard and Jaffa Streets and its address is 6 Ben Gurion Boulevard. Dick's Department Store According to the 1882 map of the German colony, on the lot on which the City Center building was built, the large trading house of the Templar family Abram Duck was located. The Dick family was one of the wealthiest in the German colony and their residence - at 8 Ben Gurion Boulevard - was one of the largest and most luxurious in the colony. Later, their sons, who continued the family tradition, were among the largest merchants in Haifa. The family ran a kind of department store that sold a variety of products, from everyday products to agricultural machinery. Among its regular customers were also Jewish settlers from the northern colonies. Agronomist Aaron Aaronson from Zichron Yaakov worked for a time as an agent at Dick's trading house, before devoting himself to his scientific and political work. In a 1984 photograph of...

The firefighters from the Haifa station, under the command of Rabbi Reshef Ronan Atias, rushed to the scene and already upon their arrival identified several vehicles on fire in an open parking lot on the street.

The many forces that arrived on the ground began to act vigorously in order to prevent spread and minimize damage, and indeed in a short time the fire was brought under control.
However, no fewer than seven vehicles were damaged in the incident, at least five of which were completely burned.

  1. Dear friends, it's not just arson, it's also car thefts, car vandalism, God willing, there is everything, shame on the city, shame on the one who was elected, and on the one who left, Haifa is no longer a beautiful city to live in.
How painful and how infuriating the situation is😬😬😬😬😬😬

  2. Why doesn't the mayor network the city with security cameras? and establish a 24/7 call center. Less salaries for officials and more cameras and personnel to patrol the city.

    • "Glitch" you live in the movie. Almost every night car fires. Apparently that's how it is in a mixed city..

  3. informs all the recent writers of their response are afraid to say specifically who is setting fire to the vehicles in Haifa ???? What are you talking about?
If I had informed, I would have stated this explicitly and also informed the police and the detective!
What are we living in a country of cowards!?
    Tell the truth explicitly!
It is also mandatory to give explicit evidence and proof so as not to be humiliated by the accusation
    without foundation!!!!

  4. This is how it is, when there is a government on the full right full full full full full and the minister of internal security on the full full full full full right, the security within the country and within its borders has never been "better", what a beauty.

  5. A bet, seemingly, the car lighters in recent years are not Jews, not Christians, not Baha'im, not Hindus, not Buddhists and not even atheists.... Is there anything left? We are on the fast track to destruction

  6. You residents of Haifa are guilty!!!
Who elects a failed mayor again?? You had the opportunity to choose a young spirit full of energy to take care of all the problems...and you let yourself down and now you will continue to complain. ...the city is getting lost😟😟😟

  7. In the past it was published in the media / internet that suspects who were involved in burning cars in Haifa were caught and received 5,000 NIS for each car they burned that came from Iran - what happened to that investigation?? What does the Shin Bet say about the fires?? Is this really a hostile action carried out by the Nazi terror and its accomplices or maybe just criminality that threatens and works to destroy life here from the inside?? It is requested that Hai Pa contact the relevant public authorities and report - as long as this is not confidential and permitted in terms of censorship - since we all seek the truth and a solution to the problem, and come to Zion Goel.

  8. Why are there billboards around the city full of incitement and hatred, Bibi is guilty, who approves, who finances, shame on you
Mayor, for your care, you wouldn't want to be on such signs

  9. Haifa is very neglected if it's a transportation situation, there is not enough enforcement, cars are standing in the middle of the road, at bus stops the roads are broken, there is no security, unfortunately the impression is that city police are not doing enough. And so is the police. We have to deal with crime. It's sad what a situation we have come to, we are not afraid of anything, Nor violence on the roads. Let's hope for good days, maybe Yona Yahav will make a change.

    • I chose Yahav to make a change in his position for 4 months and nothing changes, dense vegetation, broken roads, dangerous sidewalks, abandonment and waste everywhere, it's time for a change to the most beautiful city

    • Parking and disturbance offenses are generally enforced
      of double parking by Arabs?
Of course, otherwise there would be money to repair the roads!!!

  10. Really retarded people blame the left and Bagetz. delusional
The left does not rule the country! The right rules. What is the criticism of Bagetz/the left?

    • The left has ruled Begetz for 30 years just like the right rules the country, the result is nothing is done...
The solution is a broad government from the right of Bennett who will return to the Labor Party and then things will move because there was a responsible majority..

    • Only useful idiots do not understand that the High Court rules the country

    • I love you
If the Supreme Court annuls a fundamental law of the Knesset.
Learn some citizenship, then tell me who really rules here.
Only Beget's party and Meira Rahab are in power!

    • The right doesn't really rule, everything it decides in the High Court is annulled. This is why we wanted reform, but the left with violence and anarchy won't let it continue to rule here.

  11. There is nothing to say, since Ben Gvir became the Minister of National Security I feel really, really safe!
Right right and rules until the end..

  12. This is the legalization state of the High Court.
The criminals are partying in the streets and law-abiding people are afraid to leave the house...
That's how Hamas took over, when the judges and legal advisors don't allow the victim or most of the murderers in Barghouti to be eliminated.

    • If the Jewish terrorist had instructed his gangs to do the job instead of beating the demonstrators every week, everything would look different, but why risk catching criminals if you can harass ordinary citizens?

  13. Really scary, the fire can easily spread through the houses or cause the gas tank to explode. Even the world of crime should have limits, they cannot behave like Hamas. Besides that, in every country, even the most neglected, there are cameras on every street and even some, what is the problem with the municipalities installing cameras?

  14. organized crime
    And the police do nothing
Where are the cameras scattered in the city?
    shame
The Haifa police chief will draw conclusions

  15. In my opinion, the police should conduct surveillance
In the Neve Yosef neighborhood, Allenby Street, and Ben Yehuda
    instead of bored transgressors
    They set cars on fire.

  16. The residents are angry. We have nowhere to go. The Palestinian gang war against the Christians in the neighborhood is breaking new records. No one is willing to insure the vehicles of the residents of the neighborhood. Simply anarchy and the municipality through community policing does nothing to restore the feeling of security. What will be the end Lord of the world. what will be the end We are lost in a complete lack of signage.
