Hamotal Ben Ze'ev, author of the song

Hamotal Ben Zeev is a prolific and respected poet and creator, who wrote songs for Eurovision, children's shows and the theater, and won various awards. Wrote hundreds of songs, among them: Let, Amen, Return to the Sea, Ola Olah, Be Strong and more.
Hamotal is the home of Batia and Mordechai Ben Ze'ev, people of education and theater, and sister of Dori and Eran, people of radio and the stage. Over the years, Ben Ze'ev wrote songs together with the composer Tova Porat, who was a housekeeper in the Haifa Ben Ze'ev family.

Merav Cohen, the performing singer

Merav Cohen is a singer from Haifa. Today Cohen works as a typist in the court, after spending years as a language teacher in a high school. Merav Cohen sings in Hebrew and in different languages, and performs a lot in Haifa and the surrounding area. Cohen stands out with her special voice and her immersive stage performance. So far, the singer has recorded many songs with the composer Tova Porat and the poet Hamotel Ben Ze'ev. In addition, she collaborated with other creators, mainly from Haifa, and performs with Tova Porat in joint evenings.

Tova Porat, the composer of the song

Porat is a Haifa musician, composer and arranger, instructor of singing and singing groups in the public. For years she nurtured singers in their prime: Moshe Detz, Dalit Kahana, Dafna Wallfeiler, Efrat Piazza, Ilana Tovim and more. Porat's composed songs are sung and recorded by many Haifa singers.
For years she was one of the founders of the singing group "Shirley" from Kiryat Haim and the singing club in Beit Nagler that still exists today. In the past, she coached the group "Naughty Carmelites", the group "The Pocket", and dozens of other groups in Haifa and abroad. Currently Porat directs the singing group of the Haifa Municipality Pensioners Organization, and is mainly engaged in composing and musical productions.
