The attack of the notorious jellyfish on most of the country's beaches, and in particular in the Haifa Bay, continues to renew - never before have so many jellyfish been recorded on the open beach in Bat Galim. And this time, really, the entry is really not recommended. At least not today and tomorrow morning.

These are cords of an average size of twenty to eighty cm, loaded with hunter/venom arms.
The jellyfish are spread along the open beach as well as on the southern side of the beach. A huge amount of wireworms continue to reach the beach in Bat Galim and the bottom of the lagoon is covered with hundreds of individuals - living and dead. The sight has never been seen in Bat Galim and certainly not during this period.

This time they won
Although I always write that Bat Galim beach is safe, this is a very crazy year and the combination of the north winds and the large amount of ropes this year makes the beach dangerous.

The end of the bathing season has begun ……
hello yes
Precisely in the last three years there has been a tremendous improvement and the water is indeed clean and the appearance of invertebrates will prove this.
Hi Burnsey
Currently... the bottom is full of dead jellyfish, here and there there are a few more animals.
The districts as of today are gone, I was there today Thursday morning, there are almost no live jellyfish, the small ones are completely gone and all that's left is dead jellyfish on the bottom
In Haifa in general I would not go into the sea. Who knows what a polluted city like yours throws into the water. You must come out with another head
Another small hand grew from my chest.
It actually helps in many things... like for example driving with 2 hands on the wheel and talking on the cell phone... holding a cigarette when I want to play Call of Duty.
But I really don't recommend that you grow another head... even so, there isn't much in the current head...
Endless water pollution in Haifa and a smell that causes diseases and a bad feeling
Hello Nahum.
This is a rare and extremely unusual phenomenon in Bat Galim.
Never been like this.
Count how many jellyfish are under the water in the photo
Thank you very much Rafi.
It is very rare that more than 10 items enter the Bat Galim beach at the same time on the entire beach including up to the buoys and this is because of the direction of the flow of the sea which is in season in the summer of July.
Nice article Moti and the photos are next to the voucher in the lagoon
Well done my friend Dr. Motty Mendelsohn
Have a lovely day
