Details and updates below.
The Carmel Tunnels reported that the section of the tunnels between the Kiryat and Neve Shanan was closed to traffic following the accident.
May his memory be blessed.. but almost all the scooter riders are harassing and rampaging on the roads as if it were their own. If they took care of their safety there would be no accidents.
Every day I see their wild movements, the detours and going up to the sidewalks and crosswalks and the fear they transmit on the road. Start waking up scooter drivers because you are nothing on the road, every touch can lose your life!!!
The fact that there is no radio reception inside the tunnels makes it impossible to notify all vehicles of emergency messages, a terrible nightmare
The fact that there is no radio reception inside the tunnels makes it impossible to notify all vehicles of emergency messages.
The insanity and behavior of most of the users of the Carmel tunnels crosses borders in a serious way. Many of the users fly through the tunnels and contrary to any law, speed cameras must be installed as a matter of urgency. Perhaps the installation of the cameras will deter the criminals, including the two-wheeled ones. unfortunately
Terrible and terrible 😢
Driving on the left!
Failure to keep right!
You're done overtaking, go back to the right side of the road!
And of course, speed is not adjusted to the road conditions.
The young man only wanted to work...
But refused by car drivers.
Riding on two wheels…
May his memory be forever.
A young rider who just wanted to work and was turned away by cars?
Thanks for the dumb explanation and completely disconnected from the actual event
Please increase lighting.
Inadequate low lighting.
Car drivers and two-wheelers drive way over the speed limit.
Really a competition for the 2 lanes!!!
What happens is that in the Carmel tunnels they don't turn on all the lighting to "save energy": on cloudy days and when the light outside is not full, the lighting there is turned on in night mode with a few lamps on. There are also fluorescent lights in the corners of the tunnels that for some reason are not in use.
In addition, there is a problem with the rounded design of the tunnels which can pose a danger to buses and metros and trucks.
