The Haifa flyers won trophies and gold medals in the 2024 Acrobatics Association Cup

In the shadow of the war, the "Union Acrobatics Cup 15" competitions were held this weekend (Friday, Saturday, March 16.3-2024) in the "Olympic Experience" hall in Tel Aviv. Among the many teams in the competition, the "Flying Haifa" team under the management of Haifa's Mrs. Keren Gershgorn also took a large part, which ended its 2 days of competition with its athletes returning to Haifa with many trophies and gold medals in their possession.

During the 2 days of competitions at the national level in three level 4 - Masha, Noya and Mia won the gold medal in first place, a pair of junior girls - Roni and Arad - won the gold medal in first place, a mixed pair 11-16 Keren and Shelo - won the gold medal in first place, a pair Senior girls - Maya and Roni - won the gold medal in first place, a pair of senior boys - Gil and Yuval - won the gold medal in first place, three seniors - Uri, Sivan and Roni - won the silver medal in second place.

We will add that the three senior teams of "Haifa Flying" are supposed to represent Israel soon in the competitions of the "World Cup in Acrobatics" which will be held in Bulgaria in May of this year.

Meanwhile, it should be noted that "Haifa Flyers" under the management of the Gershgorn Foundation is a sports association that specializes in gymnastics and acrobatics and is one of the leaders today in the State of Israel as well as around the world, and it engraves an aspiration for excellence and professional progress while having fun and gaining experiences along the way. The association has been in existence for its 25th year since its establishment at the class level. The association has developed over the years and during the last 11 years European and world championships have been won year after year. "Haifa Flying" is the only association in the city of Haifa that competes in the various European and World Championships and many of its athletes are also European and World Champions. We would like to add that Mrs. Keren Gershgorn, director of "Haifa Flyers" has a BA in physical education from the Wingate Institute and a MA in education and psychology from the University of Haifa. Keren, who has an acrobatics instructor certificate and a certified acrobatics trainer certificate from the Wingate Institute and is also an international judge in international acrobatics competitions including the European and World Championships.
